Halloween costume with black crop top?
I have a crop top similar to this one
http://www.charlotterusse.com/product/Caged-PU-Fro...
Mine though is a little more open in the back, a little longer, and has mesh sides. I bought it for a good price and thought it'd be easy to come up with a creative halloween outfit for it, but it's become harder then I thought it would be. I'm trying to not just end up being a black cat or something like that and am trying to be more creative with it.
1 AnswerHalloween8 years agoHow often should a girl initiate conversation first without seeming needy or clingy?
There is a guy that I like and when we do talk we are able to joke and keep a conversation going for awhile and when I give a short response he'll say something, so it continues on going. However, we don't talk very often. Would it be bad to initiate conversation multiple times in a row? For instance, a few days ago I initiated contact, should I wait for him to talk to me first now (which is what I have been doing) or if in a few more days (so I don't seem overbearing or anything like that, so it'd be about a week after me contacting him) would it be okay if I initiate conversation with him again. While I do have a bit of a crush on him, he is still the type of person I could also just be friends with.
Would starting conversation multiple times in a row make me come across as needy or could it help it come across that I am just interested in him?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoEx has moved onto someone new, but still contacts me regularly?
We've been broken up for a few months and he's the one who broke up with me. I don't see myself ever wanting to be in a relationship again with him, but I know he's talking to and hanging out with someone new and has been for the last couple of months, but he still contacts me about once every week (sometimes more often & after about a month of no contact--which was put into place by me) and most of the time seems more interested in asking how I'm doing and what I'm up to and asking more detailed questions about that then offering up information about what he is doing in more detail when I return the same questions to him. Is he just keeping tabs on me? trying to be friends?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoIs he asking me out or no?
So, throughout the semester this guy would always ask how my day was or how i was doing when we would see each other in passing. I always thought he was nice and cute, but had a boyfriend at the time and was very much committed to him. Well after my boyfriend and I broke up I ran into this other guy in a bar and he said how he had thought I was always cute, but knew I had a boyfriend and didn't want to cross any boundaries. He also mentioned if I was ever in his town over the summer that we should hang out. So, we continued to talk all that night and flirted a little bit and exchanged numbers. We texted a little bit, but not a whole lot after that, saw each other at a party and talked there a little bit, but not a whole lot. Now that's it's summer we've talked a few times, but not much, but the other day when he texted me he asked what I was up to and when I said I was looking forward to going out of town soon he mentioned how I should come visit him (which until then I didn't know he had actually been serious about hanging out). Well, coincidentally one of the places I'm visiting is where he lives, so he wants to basically spend a day together in the city and is willing to plan it all out, which I am all for. However, since we barely ever talk I don't know if I should consider this a date or just two people hanging out?
Also, are some guys just not big on texting (most guys I know are, especially if they're interested in someone) or do you think he would have made more of an effort to contact me if was interested in that way?

1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoWays to stand out to physical therapy programs with average GPA and GRE score?
Technically I should be applying this summer for the next cycle, but have decided to delay a year to save up some money and take a little break from academic life. So, I will not be applying until next summer after I have graduated with my bachelors. Anyway, predicting what I will get GPA wise for next couple semesters I will have a GPA of 3.54, not including the 14 hours of credit I took outside of my college that I transferred in, of which I got A's in. I just took the GRE recently and scored a 157 Quantitative and a 154 Verbal, which I know are pretty average scores as well, and am considering retaking it again possibly. However, with these pretty average scores, what are other ways that I can make myself stand out to PT programs?
Side note, if you retake the GRE do the programs look at your highest score of each section or do they look at which ever time you scored the highest with the scores combined?
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)8 years agoEx keeps messaging me every couple of days, why?
My ex boyfriend and I drunkenly hooked up one of the last days of the semester before we both went home for the summer, during which at the time he said it didn't change anything. Now every few days he's been talking to me on facebook and is making random conversation that's all just small talk and nothing serious. We broke up a couple months ago and then until that night we hadn't talked for about a month. I'm pretty much over him, so I'm fine with the talking, I just don't understand making small talk when he's the one who broke up with me.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoNot sure what to make of hook up with ex?
A couple days ago I ran into my ex (of 2 months ago) at a bar and in the beginning of the night we pretty much just ignored each other, but by the end of the night he was texting me and we ended up at a table talking to each other for some time. Well then we came back to campus separate from each other, but he started texting me again (we hadn't talked for almost a month before this because i realized how i couldn't be just friends with him), so i ended up going over to his house and hung out and talked, which eventually lead to us hooking up even though we both knew it was probably a bad decision and that things aren't going to change, so i realized this and didn't text him or anything b/c i just saw it as a moment of weakness, but he just texted me last night just to talk about random stuff and it's not like i can go over or anything because i'm home now for the summer. He eventually brought up a couple nights ago and just said "so, what'd you think about the other night?" and i just said that i found it interesting and he said how he didn't expect it to happen and when i just responded with "yeah, nope" he never said anything back after that...i just don't know what's going on in his head, i mean i was under the assumption that it was just something that happened because we both were a little drunk and that to him that's all it was because it was convenient at the time
2 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoPossible broken pinky toe?
Yesterday I stubbed my toe really bad and today when I woke up realized it was really swollen and discolored and bruised. I currently have it buddy taped, but after reading some other things that people have written on breaking their pinky toes, it is nearly as painful as what others are saying. There's only mild discomfort when I walk and I've been laying in bed with my foot elevated and have been icing it off and on. Is there a way to tell if it's actually broken without going to a doctor? And is there anything else I should be doing for it?
2 AnswersInjuries8 years agoMy boyfriend and I broke up, now I'm not exactly sure what to do for the next step?
My boyfriend broke up with me about two and a half weeks ago and basically his explanation was that he was having negative feelings like jealously and frustration (which he never told me about before then) & then later on how he'd be graduating next fall and I next spring, so we'd be going our separate ways eventually anyway and how that didn't bother him at first, but now it did. It just didn't make any sense to me because recently before then he had expressed how he was becoming for emotionally invested in our relationship & was even making plans for the summer & was supposed to have dinner with my family only a couple days before the breakup, but canceled b/c his mom was making him dinner for his first night back home, so he didn't want to skip out, but told me all about how he wished he could have come. He said that even though the break up had seemed out of the blue to me, that he had been thinking about his feelings and such for the past couple weeks and thought that the negative ones would go away, but the didn't, which is why he said it was extremely difficult for him to break up with me because I did nothing wrong, but of course he still wants to be able to talk and be friends...after all this, the very next day he tried to text me and start a normal small talk conversation, to which i said i couldn't talk to him until i got over our relationship, and he didn't say anything after that, but after about a week of being broken up i caved and texted him and he said that it was hard for him too...which makes no sense since he's the one that ended it and he'll text me every once in a while to try and make small talk still and instead of ignoring it like i know i should, i talk and continue to have a small conversation with him. We'll probably be seeing each other at a house party this weekend b/c it's a mutual friend...i'm not sure how i should act around him there. I know i'm not over the relationship, but it's not like i could jump back into it even if he asked because it hurt knowing he didn't come to me when he was having issues with our relationship, but rather only went to his friends and didn't even hint that he was having issues. i'm not even sure if he'd want to be back in a relationship though.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoSays he misses me and wants to see me, but doesn't want a relationship?
I've been talking to this guy almost everyday for the most part since November. In December we started having sleep overs to say the least, but never have done anything really serious. Eventually he says that this has been the first year of college where he hasn't been in a relationship, so even though he does have feelings for me he doesn't want to be in a relationship. This was fine with me and we would hangout and watch movies, go to the store together, and basically be friends with benefits, but would have a relationship beyond just hooking up. It's been a couple months since we had the conversation about him not wanting a relationship and now that it's summer and we're apart he's called a few times to say that he misses me and wants me to visit him or have him come visit me and will just ask about my day, and one night (although he had been pretty drunk) texted that some of his best times last year were hanging out with me, but in my mind i have no idea how to respond to that because if he doesn't want a relationship, then in my mind he shouldn't be saying those type of things, so there is no reason for me to say those type of things back to him. I just kind of find it confusing & next time we actually talk on the phone and aren't just texting I plan on bringing it up, but was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on where his head is.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoHow to tell if a guy likes you or not?
So, there is this guy who at first I wasn't very interested in, but after talking to him more I kind of am, but I don't know if the feelings are mutual. I'm in college and we've kissed a few times, but it's been when we've both been drinking a little bit, but in that case it is always him who texts me, although I don't know whether or not to equate that with the fact that he may just want to be with someone for the night, but he has suggested that we get lunch sometime, but due to it being the end of the year and being busy with finals it hasn't worked for either of our schedules, and we talk almost every day and tend to for the most part have pretty long conversations about the most random things, but it tends to always flow, I don't know if that's because we both tend to get bored or what though. He slept over the other night, we didn't do anything though, but ended up talking about his exes in college, he brought it up not me, and he asked if I had had any college relationships, which I haven't, but I thought it was kind of a random conversation. We'll both be home for a month due to winter break, so we won't see each other for a while, but I was just wondering what he's possibly thinking.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agothrowing up after drinking dairy products?
This hasn't happened in years, but when I was around 13 pretty randomly during the winter I came down with a cough. Well one night I woke up and started to violently cough and a lot of it was flem to the point where it was so much coughing up of the flem that it was difficult to breath, well after this it turned into coughing and throwing up any dairy products that
I drank, so if I had my cereal with milk within a half hour I coughed and threw up not only the milk, but the cereal too, the same was true for ice cream/shakes, every incident flem was part of it too. After going to the doctor and trying a few asthma medications, the inhaler she finally put me on did the trick and it hasn't happened since. I actually now don't even use the inhaler because I think I've grown out of the asthma for the most part. I was just wondering how asthma could lead to throwing up/coughing up dairy products?
1 AnswerOther - Health10 years agoMy Dell Studio 1735 won't turn on?
At first my lap top kept telling me that I needed a new battery, and so after awhile when it would only turn on after a few tries I thought it was just the battery, so after it wouldn't turn on at all I ordered a new one, well I have the new battery and my lap top still will not turn on. The battery will charge b/c the charge light on my lap top turns on when it is plugged into the wall. Please help, I go back to college next weekend and I kind of need my lap top, should I take it to geek squad or something...I read that for some Dell people their power button actually was broken.
2 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks10 years agoBest way to stay fit in college?
I'll be a sophomore, but last year I had the worst time trying to stay fit, with class during the day and sometimes at night too and then doing homework on top of that, plus the fact that the food isn't the healthiest either.
5 AnswersDiet & Fitness10 years agoWeird feeling on right side of stomach?
Its in the lower oblique area kind of and at first it hurt every so often and then now every once in awhile it doesn't hurt like it did before, but it just feels weird and is hard to describe. I would say it's been at least a week or two off and on.
3 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoprofessions in the health field?
I have an idea on what I want to do, but I want to know what other things are our there that I may have not thought of yet. I know I'll be going to grad or some form of additional school no matter what, most likely, so what are some ideas on what I could go into with a health science major, business management minor, and biology minor.

1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)10 years agoI'm a health science major now and eventually want to be a PA, but what can I do before entering PA school?
I'm a health science major now, and am entering my second year this Fall, and afterwards I am wanting to go get my Master's and become a physician's assistant. I don't know though if I want to go straight to get my Master's or take a year or two off to work some before going back to school. The only thing is, if I did take a year off in-between, what would i do for a job? Since, health sciences is a pre-professional major and then in addition to that I am minoring in biology and business management. After graduating with that major and two minors what job could I temporarily get? Or would I have to get some kind of certification, like a CNA, in order to have any work in the field.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)10 years agoWhere can I find free/inexpensive CNA training at a nursing home or hospital in St. Louis or Chicago?
I've been looking through websites and nothing gives really good specifics, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any nursing homes or hospitals specifically that offered free or inexpensive CNA training in either the St. Louis, MO or Chicago, IL area.
Thanks!
