  • Forgotten password,yahoo?

Well my wife , like all of us was forced to change her password on yahoo. She did, and wrote it down on paper, then lost it now she can't get in! Yes there is the secret answer, but try as she may it will not go through. Does the answer have to be typed exactly as it was when submitted? Period, if there was one , capitals, exact wording, digits,if digits were used, such as 55, as opposed to, fifty five. Wasn't there an auxillary question, and if so how do we bypass the first, and answer the second? We have wasted hours waiting on the phone, only to get hung up on. Frustrating!

  • Retirement status Pennsylvania?

My brother is 52 and living with a multitude of debilitating illnesses. He receives S.S.I. as income. He will not be returning to work. Can he claim retirement status? He had worked at various jobs prior to being in a serious car accident, which started his illnesses. He would be able to receive reduced auto registration for his car, which he drives very little. Every bit of savings is a great help as he lives on so little. The family does what they can to help. Thanks!

  • Derringer ,antique?

Today digging in my yard to plant a tree, I came across two halves of what looks every bit a small derringer handle. It is cast iron, and very rusted. There is a hole up at what would be the top if it were so that a large screw or rivet may have went through, definatley some thing attached there. Anyone knowledgeable in ancient guns have any theories? I haven't found any more, but I plan to borrow a metal detector to see if I can find the rest. That will take some time though. Thanks!

  • Thanking jurors?

A few years back, I went to trial on a B.S. misdemeanor charge. The jury was intelligent, and fairminded enough to see the police misconduct, and found me,'Not guilty'. I have always wanted to send those jurors, a thank you, note of appreciation. Question how would I find their names, and am I legally allowed to do this? Thanks!

  • Real estate sold to pay for nursing home care?

A friends mother is 67 paralyzed, and is probably going to have to be placed in a nursing home. This is in Pa. She receives Medicare, and Medicaid. She owns her home, but has no other assets. Her daughter has lived in the house with her mother for the past 24 years. They have been told that in order to pay for the nursing home care the State of Pa. will force the sell of the property, and seize the money. That will effectively put the daughter, a good friend of mine'on the street'. The daughter is not listed on the deed to the house, but has paid for half the upkeep, remodeling, etc. all these years. They have been told putting the house in the daughters name at this late stage, would be fruitless, and maybe even fraud! Question; does the daughter have any recourse as to not losing her home?

  • Sidewalk/parking issues is there any laws to protect us?

We live in a one horse broken down former coal town in Pa. The Avenue that we live on is from horse and buggy days, totally impractical for today's traffic! There has been a lot of expansion in the past 40 years, new houses built where there used to be woods. The Borough has don nothing other than paving to make the roadway accessible to all the extra traffic. Where we live the road narrows to where two vehicles can barely pass going in opposite directions. We must park on this roadway. The residents above us are belligerent, they roar up, and down the ave. all day, and night, mostly in huge ridiculous 4wd trucks. They ignore the speed limit of 25 mph. They do not like to wait for other motorists to pass our parked cars, then go around. Instead they actually drive through the neighbors yard across the Street! Understandably they get ticked off. They blame us however! When this happens they complain to us, as if we can do anything to stop it, then mysteriously our cars get egged, tires flattened, etc. So the only thing we could do was to park on the sidewalk, which we have been doing for a couple years. NO ONE but us has a sidewalk in front of their house! Because of the Borough never updating. Now some new idiot cop writes us up for parking on the stupid sidewalk! Our cars have been hit, and run, sideswiped. Everyone else can park in a direct line with our sidewalk where theirs should be without fear of a ticket because there nothing more than grass, and gravel there. Help!

  • Health insurance agent at my doctors appointment?

Sometimes an agent or nurse from my insurance company will be at my doctors office to talk to me. I am in one of those little exam rooms, and in she comes, telling me I have to have this tested, and that done. It really ticks me off! No other agent from my other insurances, car, life, homeowners, etc. does this crap so why the heck do I have to put up with it from my health insurance company? Or do I? These insurance companies seem to be gaining alot of control!

  • Upgrading to a bigger breaker box?

I have put in place a new 200 amp breaker box, wire ,weatherhead, two ground rods, in Pennsylvania. All I have to do now is get an inspector to check it out then the power company will come out, and rewire the new box to the pole. Later I can install the new breakers, and rehook the existing wires. What will the inspector check for. What amp breakers should I use for the range, apartment size, and 40 gallon water heater? No guessers please, I can do that on my own. Thanks!

  • Bi polar or ?

I have a friend in her 30's. She is totally a bully when it comes to things being her way. Her friends, and family have no rights. She threw all of her husbands cherished collectibles out, even though he begged her not to. One summer she got it in her head to redo their yard, and so she totally went all out. There was an old garage, that she tore down, and threw almost everything in it away. She planted thousands of dollars worth of plants, rerouted the fence to the very edge of the property lines, it was originally set a lawnmowers width from the neighbors fence to allow maintenence. She put a 10 thousand dollar deck on the back of the house. No matter what her husband said she continued going full force.

They really didn't have the money to afford it all. She is like that for periods of time, then nothing no energy. Her latest thing is religious fanaticsm.

Her sleep is almost non existant. I don't know if she gets depressed. She is forgetful, disorganized. She does have a job hiring, and firing people. From what I know she is relentless. Her husband finally bailed, was it a coincidence that he started slowly becoming diabetic when she was fighting him about the yard ordeal. She never really had a long relationship. She was always fighting with her boyfriends. She got purposely pregnant to a guy with no job after she knew him 4 days

  • 2001 elantra fuel pump regulator location?

I was told the fuel pressure regulator is in the gas tank of my 2001 elantra, however when I replaced the fuel pump&filter a few months back, I'll be darned if I seen anything like the part I just purchased. It has a hose connector on one end,and 'O' rings on the other, but no bolt holes. The fuel pump in my car is this plastic bucket about the size of a round ice cream container, and the fuel pump is centered inside the plastic fuel filter. It has springs that depress as you tighten cover. Where in the bleep does the new regulator go? They couldn't just make life easy and put it on the end of the fuel rail, at least it doesn't look like it goes there! Thanks!

  • Nancy Grace: Hypocrite?

Nancy Grace asks in her latest commercial, "what are you afraid of?" Then she gives you examples of things to be afraid of: your husband beating you ,your kids taken,"or worse!" She claims she is there to help, but my belief is that she is the lowest form of scoundrel, and hypocrite, and that she uses her show to perpetrate fear, and to make money on it! Examples are her coverage of the Kayley Anthony case, and the dozens, and dozens of episodes that she rehashed the same facts, over, and over. Her using the word 'fear'.The same crap about Scott Peterson, the other Peterson, (the cop), school shootings, and stabbings. By rehashing the same cases over, abnd over, and over, dshe would make it appear, that there is a killer, on every street in America, just waiting to grab your kids, and every man is going to beat, and kill his life! Anyhow she makes me sick to my guts, because I believe she is a real piece of work hypocrite, and phony, and it amazes me people watch her, and that she is getting filthy rich on other peoples heartache. Do you agree?

  • 2001 elantra cutting out?

My elantra will run excellently, then bam! it loses power as if I left off the gas. I pump it and it will backfire then go again. It does not shut off however, just idles down. It has all, every sensor replaced! Everyone! New coilpak, plugs wires.charcoal canister good both purge valves good! New pcv valve. No leaks in intake, or head. Timing belt new. Fuel pump, and filter new. Runs great sometimes, so as mechanical crap does not go bad then fix itself off, and on it cannot be mechanical! It has been to three garages, they can't find anything! Cat converter good not clogged! Keeps putting up codes that say items already replaced are faulty. Service eng. Light not on. All wires, and plugs good, no problems with cranksensor, O2 sensors new! I think the main computer is going crazy, what else is there? Any ideas? If I get a new ecm, do I have to go to.a dealership to have it programmed, yes or no! Thanks!

  • Women ministers 1Timothy 2:12?

1 Timothy 2:12,1 Corinthians 14:34. These two Biblical verses are the words of the prophet Paul. In short they state that women have no authority over men, that they should remain silent in the church, that they cannot be preachers, ministers etc. Now I could care less what the Bible means concerning this,it is to me a book of contradictionshate, prejudice, outdated illogical impossibilities. However, it still holds great sway over many of our laws, perceptions of others, and morality. These things may be great for some, but they create havoc on the lives, and happiness of others, especially those based on the teachings of Paul! O.K., so there are those who have disected these verses to show that, that is not what Paul meant, that words important in the text have had other meanings, in his time. It is unimportant to me what Paul meant, I do not agree or disagree! What I want to know is this: if these verses can be said to be basically bullcrap, and that you can't take them literally, then how can ANYTHING else in that waste of paper be taken literally: therefore what use is it to base anything on the so-called teachings contained in it? Everything seems to be able to easily be contradicted! I am not asking for more, and endless Bible verses to answer my question. The Bible cannot prove or disprove itself. Yes I know I am going to hell, I do not need to hear silliness like that! Am hoping I get an intelligent answer, without stone throwing!

  • Darvocet lawsuit?

Back in 2010, attorney's were advertising for people to come forward who were harmed by the Acetaminophen laden narcotic, that was manufactured by the Eli Lilly co. then taken over by Zanadine pharmaceuticals, Darvocet. This drug had been determined to provide very little pain relief, and was causing heart arrhytmias, some of which were fatal. Suddenly it disappeared, and I am pretty sure no settlement was arrived at, nor any injured party compensated. What I want to know is what happened there, if, and how was it swept under the rug?

  • Replacing E.C.U. Elantra?

In the past if I changed the main computer in my car, I just unhooked the battery, held down the brake pedal,(to completely discharge system), unplugged the old one ,popped it out ,then replugged the cables into the new one, bolted it down, rehooked the battery , then drove away. Can I do that in a 2001 Elantra, or do I have to take it to a dealership, and have the new E.C.U. specially programmed? Did the Model 'T' Ford, utilize all this crap? Lol!

  • 2001 elantra E.C.M. replacement?

In the past I was able to simply unhook my battery, hold the brake down to totally discharge system, remove the main computer or what they used to call the brainbox, install a new one, hook the battery back up, start up, and drive away. Can I do this with a 2001 elantra, or do I have to go to a dealership, and get it programmed? Did the Model 'T', have all this crap? Lol!

  • Ablation vs. pacemaker?

My brother has had atrial fib for twenty two years. He took the basic run of the mill meds all those years. His heart has been enlarged all those years also. It has not gotten worse, he never passed out, and other than becoming fatigued he never really had any hinderences from this condition. He even was able to be pretty darned active, ( just a year ago his car wouldn't start and his neighbors crack hoe shack job was running her lips that it was parked too far in front of her boyfriends house, and she couldn't get a truck in to move her stuff out before the jerk got home, so he goes out, and puts it in park and pushes it up the street out of her way). Well this winter he was out in the wind ,and cold, and got short of breath, was in tachacardia, and went to the E.R. They gave him some injection, and along with deep breathing it came down, and he was o.k.. Well now as a precautionary measure they want to put a pacer defibrillator in him. Another doctor outside of this hospital said to look into ablation therapy. My brother really doesn't want a machine in his chest , and wires in his heart. He does not have any valve problems. Should he let the first hospital put in the pacer defib., or check out ablation? Why wouldn't the first hospital have mentioned ablation as an alternative? Or is it not an alternative? My brother has never had V fib.

  • Elantra stalling coughing shutting off.?

2001 elantra. Replaced every sensor,(EVERYONE), purge valve, fuel pump, and filter,p.c.v. Valve. Plugs wires, coilpack.O2 sensors. Charcoal canister fine, but car still runs great sometimes, then bam! Stalling, coughing, loss of power, total shutting off, starts sputtering. Had it to two garages,of course it did not act up then, and all the computer said ,O2 sensor bank one. If you disconnect battery, then start the 'check engine light stays off for about 5 minutes, or one mile, then back on. As I replaced each sensor, the damned thing ran no better, and no worse! Made no difference whatsoever! Weather, and temp. seems to mean nothing! Runs like dog dirt whether in or out of gear, even in park, and neutral. Tranny sensors new also! Gas cap on or off, no difference! I mean I tried every trick in the book! Even garages couldn't find it. I bought it and a few days later it starts this, and I am stuck with it. Everyone says what a great car these are; could've fooled me! Anyone have any answers, solutions?d me
