Is there an existing anti-noise pollution law in the Philippines?

There is such a House Bill 1839 which outlaws noise pollution from 10pm to 7am. Not sure if it passed. But I hope it does although the penalties are ludicrous.

I am from a small town wherein Democracy is fully implemented . . . loud musics as early as 5am, periodic passing of motorcycles with poorly modified mufflers, drunks screaming their hearts out at night, groups of teenagers braving curfews serenading the night with their loud voices, etc . . . It's Democrazy out here!

Kudos to Mayor Duterte of Davao for passing an ordinance which bans videoke and its likes from 9pm to 6am.

I am being persuaded by my peers to raise sheep in our farm. That's why I want to know the possible profit from this venture. I searched the web and most ads stated 5000 pesos/head to 10000 pesos/head.

One advertisement stated 150 pesos/kg. Which is which?

I just want to know if we're not being ripped-off by our local electric company. It's a typical 2-storey house (for rent) with 2 bedrooms and 1 C.R. but with no inhabitants for more than a month. In short, no electric usage.

I'm quite weary about engine knocking 'coz sometimes I fill it up with RON 93 and 95 alternately . . . depending on the available gasoline in the area.

I live in the Philippines and it was in the mid-90's when Unleaded gasoline became available here.

My inquiry is about the recommended fuel octane for my 1988 Nissan Stanza (CA20S). I'm currently using Premium Unleaded (RON 95+). Not sure if I'm doing the right thing.

There's one thing I would like to inquire in the Transformers 3 movie: what happened to the decepticon "spy" watch they gave to Sam? It seemed like it just dissipated from the scenes without any trace. With all those twitching and pain of Sam while wearing it, in the battle for Chicago, Sam seemed to be comfortably out of its grasp.

My 1988 Nissan Stanza (CA20S) has low power output at 2500 rpm and beyond. Actually, it's like hesitant to rev up at that point. Very dangerous when overtaking at high speeds.

It has been stocked at our garage for a couple of months. My father failed to start its engine once in a while. So we had it checked by our mechanic and he pointed the carburetor as the problem. The carb was cleaned and repair kits replaced but to no avail.

In addition to that, the engine sputters when at idle . . . But when cruising, everything is fine. Just don't go beyond the 2500rpm mark.

What is the problem with it?

What does Hyper 16 Valve means in an engine specifically Hondas?

I have a Honda City (1997 model, 3rd Generation) with a 1300cc SOHC 16valve MPI PGMFi engine. My curiosity began when I saw the face-lifted 3rd Generation City (1999-2002 models) with this "HYPER16"... stickers on their sides and on their valve covers (engraved). Does this mean that my engine is totally different from the 1300cc face-lifted versions?

What do you think about this nation? Are they gearing up for war or just bluffing. Considering the recent events:

- underground nuclear tests

- arresting the 2 US journalist accused of illegal entry

- severing economic ties with SoKor wherein they demanded 4x increase on the salaries of NoKor workers and 25% increase in taxes of companies owned by SoKor near their boundaries

- continously defying UN sanctions

- strong stand to weaponize their plutonium

In the past, we have seen Honda in the F1 circuits. I think Toyota is the only Japanese car maker involved with F1 now.

I had completed 2 sponsorships already and currently has 3 cars in my garage. Now, I'm just cruising around with no competitons, no events, no sponsor offers except for occasional drafting with other cars. I'm wondering how can I go to the next stages? And lots of streets are still closed.

Lots of movie channels are again showing T3. Maybe because the Terminator Salvation is upcoming soon. Anyway, I've watched T3 countless times and I still can't get it... how many upper limbs does T (Arnie) have?

Reboot your memory to the final scene in T3 wherein the Terminator was underneath the steel doors, arms preventing it from closing so the 2 heroes could be saved. Then the T-X came and held Connor's foot. The Terminator grabbed the T-X then the other hand activated the self-destruct button. Got my point? The two upper limbs are busy! So what's pushing the steel door upwards?

Both movies were serialized from Dan Brown's novels. Same director and leading actor. The question is, which of the 2 is better? Why?

I have a 1988 Nissan Stanza. It's carb-fed and here's my problem...

A month ago when I started the car early in the morning, the engine keeps dying unless I held my a foot on the pedal and keep it at 1000rpm. Initially, the RPM reads 300 or below. It's not until a minute when can let it idle alone without dying.

I already changed the fuel filter, had the carburator serviced for cleaning, and checked all lines for leakages (there was none). What could be the problem?

I've read Dan Brown's novel Angels and Demons 3 times now. Actually, I've read all of his novels. So when the info about the movie became available online, I checked it out right away. And I was surprised not to see Maximilian Kohler among the characters.

Is it an error on the part of the website? Or is the movie a little or whole lot different from the novel?

We all know that Iran is Shiite and Saddam's Iraq is mainly Sunni. Iraq defeated Iran in most of their skirmishes. Years ago, a Filipina was allegedly raped in Subic, Philippines by US servicemen... specifically Daniel Smith... after going out with them. She just met them thru her sister. Due to public clamor, he was convicted but due to the existing Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) b/w the US and Philippines, Smith was since under house arrest in the US Embassy.

Here's the point, after almost 4 years, the rape victim fires her lawyer, claims she's no longer interested with the case, then reportedly flew to the US for good. Why did she chose the US as an option to migrate? Is the US Embassy eager to get rid of her from the Philippine media that they gave her a VISA? Is the VFA one sided?
