I just installed a new water stop that is a tension fit. it drips like 2 drops an hour. Will it just corrode itself shut or should I try to fix it again.

we followed all the regulations and standers to get our full damage deposit back. We got $300 in the mail (only half the deposit) and when we called him he gave us a list of reasons why we only got half back. All of the reasons were either there before we moved in (in the move in walk through) or normal wear and tear. The office is closed till Monday but I wondering if anyone knew what are options are to get are money back? and if there is a way we can get his right to be a landlord taking away if that is possible.

lets say i have a 12v battery that and a 12v motor with 10ohm resistance at operating speed(1.2 amps).

Can I transformer it up to 48v and put 30ohm series resistors, 40ohm total, to keep it at 1.2 amps.?

I have done some searching about them. Its my gf's 20th birthday and i wanted to get her a bra and panties. Some of my friends say not to becuase if it doesn't fit right you cant return them and some say if you have the right size they will all fit right. I could buy her a gift card and put a picture of the bra i want her to buy but that seems lame. What do you think i should do?

My hp laptop is so slow even after a reformat it. when my friends grafix card over heated there was line running up and down the screen but there are non on mine it just takes a long time for windows to start up and other programs. so what over heated or is it a another problem?

my gf broke up with me because she made out with another guy at a party and said i would have just broken up with her. she doesn't want to get back together because she doesn't want to hurt me again, thinks i can do better and is doing this for me. iv tried to get back together for like 2 weeks but she doesn't want to. Are the first sexual relationship usually the hardest to get over?

I have about a foot and a half of exhaust pipe that i need to replace ;) what would the cheapest way of doing this? its a strait section and the pipe is 2 1\4 OD. I was think about going to a muffler shop and getting a piece of straight pipe 2 1\2 OD and using muffler clamps but my friend said that wouldn't work because it wont crimp enough and leak. so do they make 2 3\8 OD or could i cut 4 slots in the 2 1\2 OD?
