  • Goverment training EMPLOYMENT SCAM?

Has / Does anyone know of this practise with employers , My daughter along with many others that we know of , have applied and got employment with a national company , taken on as a Trainee , some part time , some full time ,

full filled there " Trial Day " and qualified to work for company as a trainee , with my daughters case , was on part time , 28hrs p w ( she done 2 days ) , but as and when required , the manager , stated set hours equating to 28hrs pw , but would not commit on his part , IE , messing around with excuses , sorting out rota etc amongst excuses , However , was and is still continuing to do interviews for same job positions , getting government grants for " Trainees " and either through , with a lot of cases , dismissing them through " constructive dismissal tactics " or just not full filling his part of employment promise ! in some cases not PAYING WAGES EAR-NT !! ( my daughter has been paid for 1 day )

but then taking on more " trainees " and so on so forth ! now ACAS , would not be able to get involved as due to not being in employment for 6 months , The Job centre has been made aware of this , and will not let company advertise through them in future due to this .

How ever , what could be done , who could you got to , to see these employers get investigated ? and or how to make them pay back money from the goverment !

  • Job interview / criminal record?

Ok , got a job interview this week , the job will entail an enhanced disclosure CRB , I do have my own copy , and yes 3 convictions , all spent , although there is another 1 on there of which I have never been convicted of through the courts and yet is on there ?

I intened to show this crb at the interview stage , 1 ) to save wasting each others time and 2 ) being upfront and honest about it , by the way 1st conviction 1989 , last 1 in 1994 , I have considered typing up an account / summary of explanation to spent convictions , circumstances surrounding these convictions , in order to be honest and upfront , as I believe it does put a different spin on the convictions ? a good idea or not , any ideas / suggestions anyone ?

  • is it a legal requirement that both biological parents have to give permission for?

I may be wrong but alarm bell's are ringing , my former partner whom believes she is above the law and can do just as she wants as regards my daughter , we went through the mine field of the family law courts , for two years !! where she was refusing contact , just as the judges concluded / permitted contact , she became very amicable and allowed contact on her terms ( for her own reasons ? ) however , the games continue , I noticed on my daughters school book , that her surname was different ? now without sleigh-ting the mother which I avoid at all cost's , she has proven to me , my daughter , my family her own included and the courts , police that she does lie ,

and will commit fraud in order to get what she wants and only to hurt myself . could she and her partner apply to adopt without my consent ? how would I know ? whom do I speak to , how would I find out if this has been done ? as a choice of preference avoiding the courts ! any help / advice would be appreciated

  • driving licence c1 category?

I have checked out previous answers and also checked DVLA direct gov web site , but am still confused !! I have got c1 / c1+e plus many other cats / groups , it states if your licence was issued prior to 1997 then you can drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes ! ( now I have never taken the hgv test )

I did once take the LGV test but did not pass , it go's on to say if licence issued after 1997 then you are required to take HGV test !! does that seem right that you not required to take an hgv test because I have C1 ???

  • photographic insurance payout?

Just recently posted a question on here regarding above ,

After nearly a 2 month battle with insurer's , they have agreed to settle which is good news , although the offer is not unreasonable , which is replacing all the insured items , with near identical

items ( some the lower quality versions of two of the lenses ! ) or in the case of the camera is an updated newer version and better than the one which was stolen ! if I should accept this offer , then they will order from the suppliers of whom they use and will receive the items , although I do not know how long this process takes , one point which I raise is this , some of my items were not insured , I.E : filters , spare battery , and memory cards , 2 x converter , plus one other lens !

which are a very important / vital part of the kit , which the cost of replacement would be in excess of £ 400-00 !! , I have researched and price checked various suppliers and believe if I were to be paid direct , and purchased from various suppliers , the savings here and there would go some way to pay for memory card and some filters , opting for a different lens , would cover all that was stolen !

Q 1: would it be unreasonable to insist payment direct ? Q 2 : if they purchased on my behalf would the insurers keep receipts ? , This has been a learning curve with insurer's and will possibly reconsider using a different insurer of which I need to produce or possess proof of purchase ! any thoughts , advice from anyone who has had the same dilemma's . thanks in advance

  • photographic gear stolen from car , camera gear is insured for theft from vehicle , but clause states if only?

OK car was locked up and parked on my drive way , I have a policy for my camera gear and have paid for for three years , ( including theft from vehicle ! ) police CSI checked for finger prints , found none , there was a spate of car thefts in the area 13 cars over a 48 hr period , I do not have a police report a such , however they state entry unknown , my insurance company photo-guard / JTL online insurance are saying they will not pay out as it has to be forced and violent entry ?? has any one had dealings with these people , and is there any advise , I told them that there is a small mark on door frame / door ! they need proof , police will not issue a report due to data protection , the thieves have been caught and are facing court hearing july / august , they admitted selling gear but won't say where , surely as this is theft proven should they not pay out and also should I stop payments to insurance company ? any help welcome cheers in advance
