When I bought my 1985 Toyota sr5 xcab 5 years ago, it came lifted by about an inch. Or at least it looks that way. Now I'm not familiar with suspension components whatsoever so I don't even know where to look to check for these lifting parts etc. where would I check on my truck exactly? looking to do this myself as I've done everything else on this truck myself and hope to keep it that way. the more info given, the better. I just need to know where to look to see which "lifting" parts have been added etc. thanks.

Hopefully those who are strong Christians/catholics will answer this. Just curious. I don't want to hear any but science can't prove or disprove this and that....I just want a straight answer regarding the question. Nothing more nothing less.

I just replaced the volume and tone pots with new fender ones as well as the pickup selector switch because when I was younger, I installed new texas special pickups but did a horrible job haha. This time around, with my soldering skills a lot better, I replaced them. As well as with all new wiring. I followed the diagram from fender and its buzzing/humming like crazy. Most forums I come across are about people whose buzz goes away when they touch the strings or the bridge etc. My problem is the opposite. My buzz gets louder when I touch the string and when I have the volume on between 1-8. When I go to 9 and 10, most of the buzz goes away. However, if I grab the cable jack where it inputs into the jack on my strat, ALL the buzz and hum goes away. Do I have a cold solder joint somewhere? Again, I followed the wiring diagram from fender perfectly. Is it a bad input jack? Thats the only thing I didnt replace. Maybe its the old cheap solder on it or maybe it just went bad. (FYI i used 60/40 rosin solder) not cheap lead free stuff. Any help is greatly needed. I know strats naturally hum more than others because of the single coils but this is beyond that. I also think I read somewhere that you dont need to have a ground wire running from tone pot, to tone pot, to volume pot. Idk about that as i just followed the wiring diagram from fender. I need help!

I have an msi mobo, model ms-7380 ver 1.3. I'm trying to reset the board however I see nothing in the manual about resetting. There is a clear CMOS button but nothing happens when you press it. So im guessing the reset process is sequential. Anybody know how I can reset it???? I need all the help in the world

So I have a custom built NVIDIA PC...with a 22 in hp monitor. I had it hooked up using an HDMI cable and worked fine. Wellbi would switch the HDMI cable in-between my PC and my ps3. I had my PC on and when I plugged the HDMI cable in, the screen popped on and went to that blue error screen and shut off. Now, I can't get any signal from my PC to my monitor. I've tried dvi cables, rgb cables and the HDMI cable and nothing. It sounds and looks like everything starts up fine. Just no picture. Did I short out the card Or something when I plugged the HDMI into it while it was on? I need some help.

My charge light is on,my battery and terminals are brand new and the volts are halfway on my dash meter. Last night while in the drive thru to get something to eat, I moved up and revved my engine pretty high, the charge light turned off and my meter went all the way up. It stood that way for maybe 40 seconds and when I drove off it came back on and my Meter went back to almost halfway. When I would go Onto some higher rpms the charge light kept flickering and then came back on when I stopped. It hasn't come off since. What's the problem? :( Help please!

So for some reason my 2 month old battery died the other day. Assuming there's a short somewhere within the elec system. Anyway, I charged it and my charge light is still on. Now, my charge meter on my dash goes up to 18 I think and at full charge it used to be right below that . Now, whether i have my lights on or not, the meter is almost at halfway. So here's the weird thing....i went to buy something to eat last night awhile in the drive thru i moved up the line and had reved my engine pretty high....all of a sudden, the charge light when off and my Meter went all the way up!! As soon as i drove a couple of feet and turned the corner, the light came back on and the meter went back down. What's causing this and how did it temporarily get fixed when i revved my engine? Please help :( terminals are brand new as well.

What is that cable called and how do you fix that exactly...never had to deal with that...and electrical isnt exactly my strong point.

I bought a 1985 toyota pickup 4x4 sr5 xcab and so far i've been doing some work to it these past couple of days. I was looking at the front disc brakes, the inner wheels and the knuckle joints....and it is filthy. The rear of the knuckles are covered in wet, black goop. obviously this leak is coming from the knuckle but where, and why? most likely a crap gasket but since i've never done work to knuckles or toyotas for that matter, i'm a little on the beginning side when it comes to their suspension. The right front drips slightly (covered in goop) the left front doesnt really drip but is still nonetheless covered in black goop. You can even see it staining the inside of the tire. Whats wrong with it, and what should i do?

So I recently bought one of my childhood dream trucks, a 1985 toyota sr5 4x4 pickup about a week ago and decided to do some small stuff to it so i can get it insured, registered, etc. So today i planned on changing the oil and the plugs. No biggie right? WELL....whoever changed the oil last must have used put the drain plug on like there was no tomorrow. The plug already had most of its edges rounded off so i'm assuming somebody had trouble in the past. Well...i tried a 14mm wrench/socket and nothing. I then decided to run back to autozone (after buying oil and all the other goodies) to buy some vice grips. Tried those and NOTHING!!! the vice grips just dug its teeth into the plug. Either some moron used loc tite on the plug.....or somebody welded it on the damn pan!!!! Tried some wd-40 nothing....tried budging it a bit with a hammer, nothing....a hammer and vice grips, nothing. Tried running the engine for a bit to heat up the oil just a bit....nothing. Anybody got any solutions??? If one of your solutions is to take it somewhere, i cant. Like i said, i just bought this and have to wait a bit to get it registered, etc. I already have a headache from all this, :(

Anybody know where i can find these side mirrors featured on the 1985 Toyota seen in back the future? I've seen some trucks with them on but cant seem to find any info about them (name, style etc) So i'm stuck in a rut. Please help. Link to the picture below

Ok so we all know they used more than 1 truck for the Back to the future trilogy...All of which were 1985 sr5's. Well...Idk if the wing qtr windows on the driver and passenger doors were stock or mods. Anybody know? I have the exact 85 4x4 sr5 model used in the movie(s) however no qtr wing windows. Also, the side mirrors are quite bigger than the stock side mirrors. Anybody seen these anywhere before?

If i were to buy new replacement panels from various online stores, how do they come shipped? What kind of modifications will i need to make in order to just bolt them on?
