Biros/pens never work for me - when I scribble like a baby, they work fine - but when I actually try to write something sensible like a shopping list or details of a medical appointment, they won't work at all. Why?

All my childhood and adolescence, I had neurological problems - especially that of being unable to sit still.

I took myself to the doctor for worsening pain and spasms in legs. MRI scans discovered my entire spine was riddled with tumors. My specialist said I would have been born with them and should have seen a doctor years ago when something could have been done, but it is too far gone.

So, is it abuse for a parent to not take their child to a doctor?
