Malt Vinegar...does anyone put it on their fries/chip or breaded fish?
I think I'm the only in my family that loves the stuff on my fries and fish.
just curious...

Oh hell yeah. I like to take a fork and prick the breading of the fish all over so the vinegar soaks all the way in. I like it on the fries too. I like it so much I go to the fish place and buy the whole bottle so I have some at home too.

In England it is the same as Ketchup in the US, do you find it easy to buy, here in Canada, it is a readily available product, if you want the good stuff Cross and Blackwells is the best.
Ever try Mushy Peas, Marrow Fat peas (dried) soaked and then cooked to a mush, a shake of salt, pepper, and malt vinegar.
Again depending on where your located, they are from England in a small blue box, the brand name is Batchelors, there is long cook and Quik-Soak, they are the best thing to have along side a good portion of Fish and Chips, wrapped in newspaper to be authentic

Mmmmm, Malt Vinegar on fries (Boardwalk Fries) I seem to only do that when I'm at the beach.

I hate fish, but from fast food places (where everyone else in my family loves fish) I love to put it on my fries and chicken. It is good stuff.
