okay peoples,,I need to know how do you get your hands free of jalapeno hotness once you wash them,?

I wash them and then I forget about them then I need to scratch my eye and boy oh boy that hot stuff is still on my hands????

    rub your hands with lemon juice

    Well I think you can use some vinegar. But if you ever get some in your eyes. Use someones long hair and rub it in your eye. Trust me it works. I don't know if the oil in the hair that helps or is the hair a sponge. Not sure but it sure works.

    Any citrus juice or dip them a couple times in milk

    rub your hands with lemon juice....the smaller the pepper the stronger it is...the longer you need to put lemon juice on them..also...SOFTSOAP makes an awesome citrus smelling kitchen hand saop designed to eliminate odors...its great i use it everyday!! oranges and limes also do the trick...anything with citric acid

    take it from a mexican who makes his own awesome salsa. use a the inside of a bannana peel. works everytime and alot better than citrus acid. works great on polishing shoes too.
