I'm thinking of getting an Image Treadmill, they are quite cheap. Can anyone recommend them or not?

If you have one of these treadmills and could review it for me or if you know where i can get a couple of reviews on the web. I found some but they just said its fine for walking. Would like to be able to run as the speed is up to 16km/h and i need it to last about 2 years.

We have had an image treadmill for almost 10 years.

The heart monitor never worked well, but 10 years later that may be improved.

The motor starter broke in the 5 year warrenty period and it was replaced free.

It also needed replacement last year which cost us about $150.

It gets used a lot, almost 2 hours per day. so I would say that it is a good product.

Why don't you look in your local phone book for places that refurbish them for a living you might get a good product for half or less the price.

Those tread mills are great, but expensive.
