Enegry Vampires.?

dude... there are many types of "vampires" in my line of work...

the time vampires are the worst. it always starts with "i know that you're really busy, but i just have a short question..." i try to just answer what they're asking quickly, then find a reason to scoot them out of the office and close the door.

Energy vampires do exist but dealing with them is a matter of not giving your energy to them. Do not waste your time on anyone who is caught up in negativity, who invades your personal space, or anyone who likes to argue and is angry in general. Stand at a safe distance.

When you feel your energy waning, go out in nature and allow yourself to feel love for the trees and living things. Truly, when you feel love for nature, it recharges you.

Read the book, THE CELESTINE PROPHECIES, author James Redfield. The Celestine prophecies are actual ancient truths that people are not taught about in the mainstream.

It is an excellent action packed adventure story, easy to read, and not very long. It covers the energy exchange between people and how it can drain one while energizing the other, especially during arguments. There is much more to the story and it will enlighten you about more than the energy exchange.

You can usually find it at used book stores and the cover is dark green. It might be in your local library. You won't regret reading it I guarantee it.

these people drain you emotionally and they don't mean to but I think that they are just so needy that they just draw from you that why they tend to say, "Gee, I always feel better after I talk to you!" Ever notice that? I usually end up with a headache and tired. I'm home most of the time now so I don't interact with people like that face to face anymore but thanks for the tid bit about the posture! I'm sure that will come in handy in the future at some point.

Oh yes, I have experienced people like this. Many of them are actually mentally ill people and they will leech onto you and get as much out of you as they can whether that be financially, emotionally or physically.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If you know someone is making you feel this way, do not have anything to do with them. Every time I have met a person like this, they have hurt me badly in one way or another, so I have learned to identify them quickly and not have anything to do with them. There is something seriously wrong with someone who makes you feel this way, and the feeling you are getting is your own defense system telling you to protect yourself.

Or like the above poster states, use really good boundaries and take yourself away from the person when they become too taxing.

Please do not ignore this advice.

Energy vampires in the paranormal sense of the of the word more than likely do not exhist but ....people who are emotionally taxing to deal with most definitely do. these people (your friend may be one) are gluttons for attention and tend to demand it as well as being "drama queens" more often than not. The position you are talking about is a yoga position to close your energy chakras and in eastern medicine energy transference as well as control are common theories of social interaction. I have found the best way to deal with energy vampires is to establish boundaries to the depths your willing to interact with them and be firm about it. They will either accept what your willing to put up with or go in search of someone more enabling.

These people are evil. Good people rebuild their energy by going out side and sucking up sun rays walking by rivers etc. Evil, or dark people can't do this so they suck it from us, it probably is not intentional, but it hurts all the same.

Read or watch "Celestine Prophecy"- all your ?'s will be answered. Don't know the author right now- lent mine out to others for this very reason. This is a must do thing if you want a serious answer. You can control every situation if you trust yourself! Please read or Watch!!

uummm you sure its not psychological. I don't believe in such things. I never felt such a person before. Try to just be near her and see if she "sucks your energy". If not, I think it should be in the mind.

I avoid them because like you said they suck peoples energy and wast their time. They are not well and toxic people. I just pray for them and avoid them as much as possible.

Energy vampires do not exist. I am a firm believer in the paranormal, but this is just a bunch of malarky for people who are too paranoid about anything that might feel different.
