Not all police are bad, only a very small percentage as you will find in any profession. Call another cop or go to the station and file a complaint. Most police units have a robust internal affairs division that is separate from the rest of the police force. they're job is to stop bad police officers. If that doesn't help call the state sheriffs office.

This happened to my husband... and I am 100% sure it was racism as well. He is from Mexico and I am in a small southern town in the appalachian mountains. It was in the summer, he was leaving Wal-Mart. He had his windows down and the cops pulled him over because his window tint was to dark???? WTF!!! that is BS!!! Then they took what was left of his week pay ($200) after he bought groc., they took a full carton of Cigarettes then took him to jail. He never got his money or his cigarettes back... DIRTY cops.... I hate them!!!!! It would be different if they were doing there job and keeping the peace but no, some of them... well I should say most of them from what I have seen are crooked and dirty... And YES Pat (My ex stepmother and a crooked cop herself) if you are reading this I hope you are in jail yourself right now and someone has made you there B***H.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would make sure that I had proof and then I would probably go to the DA and try to prosecute him without having to get any law enforcement involved. If he really is corrupt, I would then hope that his fellow officers would want him fired.

Id present my military i.d. .. Id tell him that he is under citizens arrest, id call 1411 ( they record phone calls which includes everything going on in the background ).. If he wanted to brandish his firearm, Id would pull out my concealed handgun ( im a C.H.L. carrier ) and give him two options, shoot me and have them record it ( as well as his police car ) or give me his handcuffs and lay flat on the ground until internal affairs gets there...
Yes that sounds extreme.. haha..
In reality, Id write his squad car # down, call internal affairs, and request an investigation and that they place his car camera into IA evidence...

If a cop robbed me Id do what i would with anyone else.... Beat him until he stopped moving, then call 911 and tell them they need to train their officers to fight better.

Same thing we do every day....Call it a 'cost of doing business'. Now if he starts wanting TOO much money every day and doesnt want to uphold his part of the bargain, then we call the feds to set up a sting.

If he were that brazen, he's probably related to or friends with the chief of police, the DA, the mayor and the city council members. And if you complain, you are the one whose reputation will be trashed.
