Would you believe that prayers can affect the election?

I believe that God will give us as a nation whom we DESERVE,not what we WANT!

I believe hanging my rear end out the window and farting would have more of an effect on the election than 300 million prayers would.

Yes, I do. If it is led by the Holy Spirit, and in tune with him. I believe that prayer can profoundly affect the leadership and direction of a country. And I realize that I should be doing more of it. Thanks for the reminder!

Yes I do I think that if 20 people got together and prayed for a good president a good one will be elected. There are studies being done worldwide of people coming together in different cities and praying, during the "prayer festival" the crime in those cities dropped significantly.

Yes, I do believe that prayer can help - however we also have to admit that we need to take a stand for what we believe is God's way of leading a country. If we humble ourselves and pray and seek His face, AND TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS, God will hear from heaven, FORGIVE OUR SINS and HEAL OUR LAND. Praying the right president, may not be the answer- living a life that pleases God may be the answer.

Actually in that study a few years ago about whether prayers were good for sick people - people who were prayed for got sicker overall.

It's nonsense for poor dumb people.

does that mean all the fundies who helped get Bush into office were actually praying to get a bad president? or maybe god doesn't listen to fundies' prayers.

We have been judged and are entering into judgment as a nation. Nobody can save us except God himself and most people don´t even believe he exists..

There is no good future president in the running, it is a lose-lose situation..
