my cat used to pee on their shoes because we have a shoes off policy in our house, but ever since that incident, guest can keep their shoes on.

Buddy is like a Walmart greeter. He will race to the front door, start purring, and attempt to greet and rub against anyone who comes in.
Blue is the Assistant Manager who stays in the back office. If a guest stays around for more than a half hour, she will amble in and inspect the proceedings.

My cat runs away. She's scared of the door and even more scared of someone walking towards the door from outside. We think it's because she was a stray and maybe she saw someone walk up to the door when they abandoned her :(
If someone is in the house though, she usually doesn't mind.

When the door bell rings, my younger male cat waddles towards the door to see who it is. My older female cat keeps her distance and stays on the stairs to determine if whoever is coming over is an adult and not a child.
She does a disappearance act when children are around. She hates them so much. XD
But my little fatso boy, he ADORES children and stands by them so that they can abuse him. He enjoys it.

My sister's cat comes up, rubs, and curls up on my lap. She is normally a "hit and run" cat to other people, dashing by and trying to snag them with her declawed paws. And I hate cats! I think she knows it.
