Thanks

    1/2 cup real butter

1 pint (2 cups / 16 fl. oz.) heavy whipping cream

    1 tsp. garlic powder

salt and pepper - to taste

    1 dash cayenne pepper

2/3 cup fresh grated Parmesan OR Romano cheese

1 lb. box fettuccine noodles - prepared as directed

chopped fresh parsley - for garnish, optional

-In a 2-quart saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter; add cream, garlic powder, and salt and peppers; simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick.

-Remove sauce from heat and stir in cheese. Do not heat sauce after cheese has been added.

-Serve sauce over hot fettuccine noodles and sprinkle with parsley, if desired.

Notes: Though you can’t rush this sauce, if it seems to be taking too long to thicken, stir in up to 1/4 cup cream cheese. Make sure your Parmesan or Romano is grated and not shredded; it won't melt properly if shredded. Do not use Kraft® Grated Parmesan in the canister

    Here's how I do it:

    1-2 slices of bacon

    1 stick butter

    1 cup heavy cream

    1 cup finely shredded parmesan

Minced fresh garlic (I like a lot, so i put about 5-7 cloves-you can vary yours to accommodate your tastes.)

    Cracked black pepper (to taste)

Fry bacon until crisp, and set aside. To the bacon grease add butter and saute garlic. Add cream. Add cheese. Add pepper. Once it is thick, creamy and gooey add your other meats or veggies- you can chop up the bacon and add if you like. Add noodles and toss.

I would have the broccoli already cooked, so you are just adding to coat. Shrimp cooks so quickly that it can be added raw. Wait till the shrimp is about 95% done before adding noodles.

Source(s): This sounds good...I might make some tonite!

How much fat and cholesterol do u want in it?

maximum amount? use butter n cream and full fat cheese

reduced amount? use soy margarine, and non fat dry milk n filtered water with non fat cheese
