I can't believe you would have to ask that. She gave birth to you pal. She went through endless hours of unimaginable pain. Even if it was a short birth, take it from me,I have 3 kids of my own, that giving birth is so intense and painful that EVERY second feels like an eternity.
This is the woman who bathed you, fed you, kissed your boo boos, nursed you back to health when you were sick, and checked under your bed for monsters every night. Don't you think that helping this superwoman around the house is the very LEAST you could do? We can never repay our parents enough for all the things they do for us, but we should damn well try. Now get off the computer, go tell your mother you appreciate and love her, and ask if there's anything she needs help with.

YES, you live there you should help. Start by keeping your stuff put away. I stay home take care of the house and a small child I appreciate very much when my kids do the chores assigned and keep their mess cleaned up. I can do extra chores, projects, etc. when they do their share and it is difficult to do it if I have to pick up the same things dropped by kids old enough to know better.
Your mom isn't doing you any favors by not insisting you help around the house.

Yes you should. A mother does a lot in a days work and all we really want is some help around the house. It will make her day a little easier
and she will be happy that you did.

Why do you think, let me flip it around. You know the answers. Parents have done more than enough so dont you think helping will relief some of her tention. How about doing it instead of talking about it . Am more than sure she will be happy and you will get rewarded eventually along the process.

Ahh trust me, if you don't you get in lots of trouble.
Take this advice, if you do some chores, they'll respect you more and think you're a great kid, and you can ask for more pocket money and stuff.
Just do it, its only fair, cuz your mom probably does loads of house work. It's only fair man.

If you live in the house,
then you are obligated to help.
If you aren't a current residence,
then you are in no way obligated to help.

Why shouldn't you?
It would make your mom pretty happy if you did something for her without her having to ask you. :)
