If sky's the limit then how can we achieve the impossible?

You can't see an end to the sky, it seems infinite from our perspective. Also, where does the sky end and space begin, and are they two separate things. Therefore, 'the sky is the limit' means there are endless possibilities, so everything must be possible. We can achieve the impossible because the possible things are infinite, meaning there is nothing that is impossible and we can achieve those things that, to us, seem impossible.

Saying the sky is the limit is basically saying that there is no limit to what is possible, however with the current understanding and technology etc we have we can fail to achieve what we set out to do simply because we don't have what it takes at the moment

The term, "The sky's the limit" means that there is no end of possibilities. Thus, by definition, if the sky is the limit, then nothing is impossible.

The sky does have limits. Beyond that there is space. Space shots have no limits, so you're good to go!
