Was my cat meant to be a dog?

Question

I have had cats my whole life, I have always preferred kitties over dogs.  Don't get me wrong though I am a dog lover myself I just find I connect more with cats.  So Mya and Boomer came into our home as kittens six years ago and we love both of them dearly but Boomer I swear was suppose to be a dog.
She can't jump when she tries she misses and falls down
She has NO balance 
She does not sleep 
She cannot meow
She can't hunt she can't even catch a fly
She refuses to groom herself unless her sister does it
She is the messiest eater kibble everywhere wet food all over her mouth
She DROOLS!
She runs to the door when the doorbell rings
She plays fetch (although I have had many cats that have done that)
She licks your face when you come home
She begs
She jumps in the bathtub even though it is full of water

What's your opinion.

While some of the behavior you describe is fairly common in the feline species, ( at least with my two Oriental Shorthairs) such as running to the door, playing fetch, licking my face, begging and being fascinated at least with a full bathtub- had a Burmese kitten that would jump into the bathtub with me and sit on my tummy- enjoying the "hot tub" I provided), some of the other behaviors are somewhat alarming.

Cats have an amazing sense of balance and can judge the distances to which they are attempting leaps very well, if a cat consistently misses, your kitty may be visually impaired. We had a Siamese that began missing jumps on a regular basis, and after a vet's exam we learned that she had a condition called feline retinal atrophy and she was going blind. Once she was totally blind she did not attempt jumps but was very aware of her enviroment and got around very well.

If this were my kitty, I would certainly consult with my vet to find out 1. If her vision is impaired. 2. To check for any neurological problems that is affecting her balance, and her not sleeping. 

Not grooming is also a red flag that something may be amiss. Drooling can be caused by either extreme pleasure if accompanied with purring and kneading, but can also be symptomatic of an oral condition that needs attention. This also may be the cause of her messy eating habits.

So do consult with your vet to rule out any underlying medical conditions, and if all checks out ok,  and she is perfectly healthy, then she is just a very unusal kitty with some interesting behaviors.

Three things concern me about your cat, you say she can't jump, she doesn't sleep, she doesn't groom herself and she can't meow, do you realise these are very worrying symptoms of a poorly cat, i think you need to take your cat for a check up at the vets.

its probably just the way it is trained, our dog is a bit like a cat, stalking birds and always sleeping on the windowsill
