    Genesis 1:1 In the beginning...

    Genesis 1:8 In the beginning...

Nothing I suppose, as He was busy creating the universe (Gen. 1:8) before He was even created (Gen. 1:1). Boy, He sure did have His hands full!

Edit: His Servant- By that logic, His time travels must be random and involuntary, and He must have never done a thing through the entirety of His existence. This would mean that He could have not existed at all to do nothing at all!

    See the shortfall?

I guess that's kind of like asking "What happened before the Big Bang"? Theologically speaking, God exists outside of 4-D space/time so grammar like "busy with before..." does not apply, and even if it did, God is totally complete in Himself in every respect so I guess He'd be pretty good at keeping Himself occupied. If there's any clue though, I'd look to Isaiah where it describes the battle in heaven and the fall of a third of the angels before the creation - it sounds like God, if He was busy dealing with anything, He was busy dealing with the troublemakers among His angels.

As for asking how God came "into" existence from nothing, I'd be wondering the same about us humans, seeing as if there's no God we came into existence from, ultimately, nothing.

fully stupid and not even authentic to the narrative. i've got translated the completed Genesis from the Greek and the Hebrew. worked with the Latin and study all Augustine's commentaries. exceptionally much each and every little thing you assert is contradicted interior the narrative itself ! Readers, i'm going to declare it for the only hundredth time, get this artwork via between the final Semitic scholars ever : The Pentateuch as Narrative via John Sailhamer
