Should I tell my brother?

I have two brothers. One is from my Mother's first marriage, his father got custody like forty some years ago and I never met him until last year. As far as he knew his mother was dead. I grew up with my other brother. The brother I grew up with can be very unpleasant and he hates Mom. Nobody in the family has much contact with him (there are six of us). My Mother found him (my long lost brother) last year on Facebook and we have visited a couple of times now. He is awesome! My question is: Is it wrong not to tell my other brother about it? We haven't told him that we've been in contact with the lost one yet, and I'm struggling with it. What should I do?

If the one "Poison Pill" isn't asking . . .why tell.

No reason to poison the long-lost brother with the odd attitude equipped brother . . .

    Enjoy your time !

I think it is your mother's decision. After all she is the one common Factor.

I would tell him. If you want to wait until the next time you talk to him, then maybe do that. But I would tell him.

If you don't really talk to your brother i wouldn't bother.
