What exercise should I take up - if I hate it?

I have been falling asleep in class lately - and my doctor says I should exercise to de-stress. But honestly, I have never enjoyed it, and the thought of it stresses me out more. I have always been more academic than sporty. What class should I take up? How else can I de-stress? I'm dreading this...

    I am also allergic to sports - can't think of one I like - so all I do is walk. I walk every day, usually on my way to work, making sure that the walk is at least 20 minutes long (at an good even pace) and do the return trip on the way home. I have found that by doing this I have managed to relax and enjoy the walk, and keep weight off. See if this works for you.
