I think I hate Asian cartoons?

I think you don't like anime fans, not anime itself. If you enjoy cartoons, you can enjoy anime. Now, there really are people who take fandom to a totally different level. I think for that kind of people you use the word otaku that has such a negative connotation - it refers to an anime obsessed person with no life and no friends. As an anime enthusiast (I used a different word to differentiate myself from the kind of people you hate), I too do not want to be categorized along with those kinds of people. But not every person who enjoys anime fits the description you just gave. Probably you've been exposed to fangirls or H lovers or fiercely competitive people, but all the more should you find a sensible person that can disprove your current beliefs, and probably even get you to appreciate anime.

On that note, anime comes from Japan, and Japan does not represent all of Asia, so there are other Asian cartoons that are not anime, so be careful about that.

First off it seems you hate Anime Fans mostly Otaku's and Weeaboo's not Anime itself. I will point out not all fans are like that and it is not limited to just anime.

Not true while there is a lot of Asian women that do not have large breasts, there are some Asian women ( maybe due to interracial parents or grandparents ect. [I do not know] but still look Asian) that have big or at least not small breasts. Also since there is still in Japan such thing as an arranged marriage in which case the proposed groom is someone they never met or only met after near the time for marriage. Making it possible for a pretty boy to come out of nowhere and marry them.

-I hate when they dis American cartoons. And FYI if it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be 'anime'.

Not true while American Disney Cartoons played a big part in making Anime what it is today, Anime was slowly coming around and Japanese Cartoons would have happened no matter what. and FYI what is wrong if they do not like it that is their opinion and you should not let it decide if you like something or not. I mean I hate Sponge Bob and think it is stupid, but should my opinion matter to you is something else.

I agree I do hate this when fans try to become Japanese, but so what if it is not hurting me I just leave them alone.

I hate it when people separate Coke and Pepsi since they are the same damn thing Soda. Wait they do that anyways it is natural people see a difference in something and say it is different. While Anime may be Cartoons there is a difference between American Cartoons and Japanese Cartoons. One major difference is that Japanese Anime most of the time has a viewing order in the series and you have to view it in that order to get the story, while American Cartoons viewing order does not seem to matter all that much.

I do not think anyone thought Boondocks was an Anime, but I seen the others mentioned as Anime and it is not Anime. I think Airbender creators did take a look and where influenced by Anime style and realism and added it to Airbender. Teen Titans the only excuse is that I can give is that those cartoons to those fans felt more like realism and less cartoony to them and they are just not used to American Cartoons like that it is an honest mistake and I have not seen it mentioned in a while and no newer cartoons thought to be Anime but are not.

Well they are fans and people hate it if you one are racist against any race like say something bad about Asians just because they are Asians and two say something Bad about something they enjoy because you do not like it. I mean just think think about saying to a twilight fan that that vampire guy ( do not know the name or care) is a ugly piece of @$$%# and not a true Vampire, or say like you said dis American cartoons and think that they are worthless pieces of junk or something along the lines and mistake American Cartoons that are worth watching as Anime that that person would not take offense and blow up on that person. Well I do not know maybe you grew up and noticed that people may have different views and opinions on a subject and kids are not emotionless and this does not have anything to do with emotions but personal opinion. Hate not being an emotion but an opinion about something you dislike. I mean you may love something you may be angry at something, but when get down to hatting something that itself is not an emotion but a reasoned response.

It sounds to me like you hate the fans more than anything else. You shouldn't judge something because of other people who judge it. As for you hate of them dissing American cartoons I really can't find a way to understand that. Do you even watch what we call 'the good anime'?

I watch anime all the time but I don't get out and mingle with many others who watch it as well and it has led to me not being bothered by the anime fans at all. So how come you are bothered? Do you go out and find things to annoy you?

Teen Titans is made in America, but is influenced by Japanese drawing styles and animation and includes a Japanese Theme Song. When you argue that this is purely an American cartoons, you are just being ignorant. Avatar: The Last Airbender is made in America, but it is based on Asian culture. The bending moves are all forms of martial arts that were developed in Asia. I don't watch the Boondocks so I cannot speak for them. Also, I hope you're not ignorant to the fact that the characters are all DRAWN before they are ANIMATED.

Yes, many anime and manga fans are annoying. I wholly agree. Sometimes I want to punch them or shoot them. But there are still quite a few really sensible ones. [though very rare] If you go to a community with lots of n00bs, you'll find annoying fans. If you go to a more experienced community like MangaUpdates, everybody is sensible and has brains.

I agree, those are cliches. They are CLICHES. Not all anime and manga have them! Most do since they're cliches, I agree, but some don't! Have you read Seven Days or watched Colorful [the movie not the ecchi tv series]? The characters are blatantly against many of the love cliches present in anime and manga. Go read/watch them. And go read Otoyomegatari and Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan while you're at it. They'll blow you mind away.

Not all anime and manga fans dislike American cartoons. In fact, all of the anime and manga fans I know LOVE American cartoons just as much as they love anime. There might be some that are haters, but most of the anime fans I've met really like American cartoons. The only person who likes anime but doesn't really watch American cartoons I can think of is myself. Not because I hate it since I do watch them whenever I get the chance to, but because I was never exposed to much American cartoons since I grew up with anime and had very little access to American cartoons. I still did try to watch American cartoons whenever I could. [Kid's Next Door, Spongebob, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, ScoobyDoo, etc]

I have seen many hate about anime and their reasons but not one I can accept. This is what I call baseless hatred.
