How to treat social anxiety?
I think I have social anxiety but I don't want to go to a doctor or therapist about it. I talk normally with my friends but with new people I look scared and I talk awkwardly. Especially around girls. I have no friends as girls which kinda depresses me. I think I just need to feel better about myself. I noticed that when I'm in a good mood I interact more.

Don't feel bad cause I am a female,
And I feel the same way with strangers the only difference is I all ready have a husband and kids but don't disregard my feels and I will tell you why. Every one deals with life in many ways and you just have not found your way but trust me there are lots of us who feel the same way you, just maybe not all the same way but similar. Exercise really helps for a lot of things its just hard to get in the mood to exercises so that's one of the things I use that founds that helps with Confidence and is a help with stress relief and I notice people or better yet myself when I feel anxiety is when I want to be something I am not or trying to please my husband because he could be a big *** O. Pay attention when you feel the most anxiety and then try different things to relax you. Candy cane candy has been know to help relax people and also Dark chocolate. Try all of them but your testostrum can also cause you to be undecisive and affect your behavior but you would need to see a doctor to get into that. Hi Jeric,
You overcome Social Anxiety
firstly by writing down all your stressful events or stressors
then look at each one and give it a rating. Then learn to really relax the mind
and while doing so start to think of the easiest on your list.
After doing this a couple of times you will be
able to relax while thinking of an easy stressor.
Then actually attempt to do the easiest thing on the list.
So to relax in the first place you can deep breath and
listen to your breathing as you inhale and exhale for a half an hour per day.
Once you feel you've mastered the easiest stressor move onto the next.
And so on.
Don't forget to celebrate near victories as well.

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

oops! look as though u 're encountering claustrophobia which 's restricting u but I assure u r cool that way my dear.as a matter of fact it 's natural to feel the way you feel sometimes.
everyone of us posses little shyness.
I had the same feelings as you do but overcame them after consulted the doctor and told me there was nothing wrong with me.
So I recommends you put more effort,continue meeting different people,and interact with them.once u do that you b just how u want yrself to be.

There's something wrong and you don't want to go to a doctor or therapist, right? That tells me you don't really want to do anything about it. That's fear! What are you afraid of? That's where you gotta look. You don't wanna get help? Suffer!
