Is the anime "Spice & Wolf" worth watching?

I'm an action/fantasy/shonen type, but I love a great story.

Its the best love story of any anime I've ever seen, its simply an epic romance.

Its definintly got big fantasy elements, but its not an action show. Yea theres a couple episodes where Horo shows her badass side and mauls a bunch of soldiers as a giant wolf... But by and large its a romance. If you love a great story, yea Id reccomend it, but if action is your priority, there are definintly more action packed shows out there

Any anime is worth watching, even in the first few episodes it doesn't seem that great, if you keep watching more then likely it will get better...and if you don't like it by the end then you just don't, but at least you stuck it through and can have a better opinion of it being you saw it from start to finish

It could be... For me it was.

It isn't really action-like though. It is basically about a legiondary wolf (Holo/Horo) who begins traveling with a merchant named Lawrance to get back to her homelands. Along the way, she helps him with his sales.
