Difference between hip parallel and knee parallel?

hip is lower but how much

knee i understand is were the top part of your quad is parallel to the ground

how much lower is hip parallel

    I would say that hip parallel is actually higher then knee parallel because for your quad to be parallel that is going to put your hip at a negative angle. Think of it this way when you do butt to ground squats which one is lower? your hip is going to be lower then your knee so therefore your hips are goign to hit paralle before your knee. It also depends on your body type and how wide your squat stance is.
