Please Help, My parents forgot my birthday!?

Question

I'm not this user, just a friend. Today is my birthday and its really late now. I live with my mum, my dad lives abroad with his wife and daughter. Both my parents forgot my birthday!! People I didnt know wished me a happy birthday but my parents forgot. My mum even shouted at me today for a very stupid reason and she's still mad! I even told her a lot of people wished me happy birthday today and guess what she did, she looked at the computer for 3 minutes no answer then replied okay! What the hell how can they?! For my mum's birthday i invited all her friends and i baked for 5 hours straight and i managed to make her a new outfit myself! As for my dad I e-mailed him, I called I even made him a short happy birthday video which took hours!! because he never gets the mail i sent him but i told him when he comes to visit his gift will be waiting!
They both forgot my birthday! I cant believe it

Happy birthday love, I'm really sorry for what happened and I'm sure that once they realise they are going to feel awful. You should speak to your mum, say "It's my birthday today - and it's meant to be a special day for us both because it's the day you gave birth to me, so can we go for a meal together or watch a film." That will hopefully bring you closer and stop you feeling angry towards your mum. Let us know how you get on. xx
