Favorite french fry seasonings/dips?
I love experimenting with french fry recipes, adding different seasonings and that sort of thing. Aside from plain old salt, my favorite is a mixture of sea salt, garlic salt, and black pepper. So I was wondering, what is your favorite french fry recipe/seasoning? And what is your favorite thing to dip them in? Thanks :)

There's a place called Smashburger that makes pretty good "smash fries". They're skinny, crunchy fries tossed with sea salt, olive oil, rosemary, and probably a small selection of spices (garlic, onion, etc.).
Also, there's a killer bar in OKC called the Drunken Fry. You get fries there and they have a long selection of sauces to pick from. Check the link below, maybe you can get some ideas?
Ofc, when I make fries at home it'll be sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic and onion (dried/granulated), maybe some paprika, and always sugar! The sugar sounds weird, I know, but I love that sweet+salty taste.

When I make homemade french fries I usually sprinkle them generously with paprika, add a little lemon juice, sea salt, and dash them with sugar to make it have a hint of sweetness! Or instead of potatoes I use sweet potatoes, soooo much more delicious and sweet! Then afterwards I just dip them in ketchup, hot sauce (gotta love that hot sauce!) , sweet honey mustard, barbecue, or if I'm lucky some spare sweet and sour sauce.
Happy eating!

The 'sauce' I make may not sound good, but it is absolutely delicious. It goes well with a lot. Especially chicken nuggets! I mix ketchup, mayo, mustard (or honey mustard), and texas pete hot sauce. Add according to your taste. I even thought it would be gross at first, but even i love it. Enjoy!

Mix of ketchup and mayonnaise is a win. Sauce tartare is really good with it too.
