How to deal with body image issues in a healthy way?

How to deal with body image issues in a healthy way?

I'm a new mommy and my baby is 3 months old. I haven't had any success in loosing the amount of weight that I wanted to have lost by now. My body is disgusting and I can't stand the way that I look anymore. The father of my child is no longer attracted to me, he's interested in women that look nothing like me. I guess I'm becoming very depressed and going into a place that I need to avoid mentally.I haven't eaten a meal in days, I hate looking at myself. I'm looking for some help, as far as websites or programs that could help me feel better about the person I am now, while I try and work on becoming the women that I truly want to be.

Update:

(Well Bob, to answer your question. I am focusing on my child, she's my main priority. For you to attack me when all I asked for was body image issues is out of line. I'm a strong mother and NEVER once asked for advice on being one. Don't question my role as a mother because you have no idea. Also, if you had any clue about psychology, in order to help others more better (such as my child) I have to also help myself be better. Don't answer my questions anymore please.)

i wish i could give you a big hug and take your worrying away. You're a new mummy, you don't need to be stressing out so much. if you gave birth 3 months ago its EARLY DAYS. you're being way too hard on yourself. it can take a year to lose "baby" weight.

Eat sensibly and healthily. Honest to god you won't be able to think clearly, function or be rational if you are starving yourself.

you seem to have a "severe" issue, did you have body image / hatred problems prior to getting pregnant? have you had an ED (eating disorder) and issues before?

eat healthily, enjoy being a mum, be active, walk your baby in the pram. work in your fitness and getting back in shape but don't make it your only focus or base all your self esteem on how much you weigh or what you look like.

starving yourself makes people irritable and grumpy. your body is not disgusting, its working perfectly and is a marvel!

maybe you need to have some mummy me time. book yourself in for a haircut, and if you can afford it some pampering. you need to learn to appreciate you body. take care of it, don't keep punishing yourself.

Why don't you stop focusing on yourself and focus on your baby who needs a strong mother to care for it
