Urgent blender question..?

I apparently fried my blender (It began to smoke) while i was making a whipped icing.. Can i still use the icing i've made or is it just garbage now?

    The motor compartment is below the actual blender, icing is fine

    While you were making the icing... did any oil drip into the icing from the Blender? Probably not. It would be a dark color and easy to see unless the icing is chocolate. If you see no impurities, then the icing should be safe to use.

    Icing is fine.

    Usually a blender is not the best appliance for a frosting or icing. It does not whip enough air into the mixture to make it light and fluffy.

    Also allow your blender to cool down it may have just over heated and once it is cooled it may reset.

    Use the icing; it wasn't affected by the blender breakdown.
