Haikyuu! (Although the focus is not mainly on him, Kageyama is still one of the main characters and I think he's a tiny bit socially awkward)

Kuroko no Basket (Speaking of Haikyuu! I remembered this one. Kuroko has very little presence and he uses that as an advantage in basketball)

Yowamushi no Pedal (speaking of Kuroko no Basket, this anime is more accurate on 'socially awkward main character' I think)

Inu x Boku SS (the main character acts all high and mighty in front of people because she's just too shy xD)

The World Only God Knows (this is funny and a harem too ;D)

that is as far as my brain could go. I know there are a lot more animes I have watched that has socially awkward characters but I just can't remember them at this moment.

The main character always has a pokerface, and is really insignificant (he always seems to appear out of nowhere).

Sawako, the main girl, was a bit of a loner since she always looked creepy with her long black hair, and was always thought to be the loathed horror character Sadako.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

(Comedy, slice of life)

There are lots of characters, most of them being boys, and it shows their daily lives in high school.

Good fan service if you like half naked swimmer boys. Also, the main character always has a poker face and his best friend is almost always talking for him.

There are multiple couples. The main male character is a bit of a dork and oblivious to the main girl's actions and attempts to tell him she likes him.

Tonari no Seki-kun

Seki-kun is a bit of a weirdo who has too much fun getting creative during class, much to the main girl's attention.

The main guy gives no sh*ts about anything, or so he says.

Girl who distances herself from people, and is an extreme loner, until some popular guy decides to steal her heart.

Ao Haru Ride

A guy who has distanced himself from other people, and comes off as cold, comes back into a girl's life after he disappeared during middle school. He is no longer nice to her as he was before, but slowly warms up as he realises his feelings for her.
