stomach pains in my mid/left side, what could this be?
So for the past 2 weeks maybe I've noticed a feeling in my stomach area the mid and left side. I was at the gym one day doing crunches towards the end of my workout and shortly after the crunches i got the worse pain possible in my abs it wasn't the normal soreness pain it was more like a sharp pain. If im just doing my daily routine at work and not being too active i don't feel it much. Also the other day i was at the bar and I literally had 2 beers and towards the end of the second beer i noticed a small pain in my stomach again, also if i sleep on my side or stomach i can feel it a bit. What could this be? I'm very active, i workout, i'm a vegetarian so i eat very healthy, what in the world is going on?

What causes pain in the spleen and splenomegaly what?
Since the cells from the blood go old, tired, or are dying, it is normal that intense exercise lead to an agglomeration of such cells in the spleen.
The spleen is a limit to the number of blood cells that can "recycle".
If the body exceeds this limit from various causes (intense exercise, infections - flu, colds, cavities infected ingrown toenails, etc., hepatitis, tuberculosis, cirrhosis, cancer, malaria, measles, autoimmune disease, hydatid cyst, septicemia, mononucleosis - Epstein Barr, blood diseases, etc.), spleen swell and becomes painful.
In the case of exercise, all you have to do is stop the activity and give the spleen time to process the large amount of blood cells that had accumulated in it.
Enlarged spleen (splenomegaly) occurs for a few days, it is time to go to the doctor.
Read on and see what are the symptoms of an enlarged spleen, which involves examination by a doctor

Do you have a hernia? Acid reflux? You'd need a check up to find out. It's probably treatable. If fear is keeping you from the doctor's, take someone

Any neausa? It could be kidney stones at worst. It may also just be simple constipation. I would see a doctor. Is your abdomen tender when you touch it?
