Here's an example I was playing with my friend rough housing a bit then he hit his arm I heard like a pop or something my head thought he like dislocated his arm but he said he was fine he was moving his arm normally then my head transition from that point to me being in a coma now my head thinks I'm in a coma becauase of my guilt for my friend hitting his arm this is what I struggle with my family sees my friend acting fine they all see him but my head still thinks his arm is broken or dislocated another example is cement powder my head thinks people everywhere no matter who is trying to throw cement powder on my hair it's another thing I struggle with then there is superstition to witchcraft I can go on and on my list is long bottom line is I have a delusion thought issue top with paranoia and a OCD issue as well I don't how I'm able to keep my self together in public but on the inside I'm losing it so what do you say would you consider me to be a schizophrenic?

Hello! I'm a student nurse in my psychiatric rotation. You are definitely having some delusional/ paranoid thoughts. If you think that your friend's arm in broken but it's not in fact. And if you think that people are going to throw cement powder. The best advice I can give you is to see a psychiatrist as they can diagnose an issue or tell you that you're ok. Also, if you start hearing any voices that urge you to hurt yourself or other please don't act on them but confide in someone you trust (a parent) so they can help you. Schizophrenia can be managed with medications and therapy you just have to be proactive with your treatment if you end up being diagnosed. Try to start exercising if you can cause that can help with such disorders. Good luck to you!

I am no psychitrist. But those don't seem to be synptombs of skitzophrenia. See a Psychiatrist ASAP. Sounds like something that can be treated since you are aware and rhinking logically. May be it is due to atrauma or any deep trauma you may have had as a child or at any point in your life. Good luck. Help is available.

I'm not a psychiatrist, so I can't say for sure, but I suspect if your OCD were controlled, the other symptoms might go away. The thoughts you have like about your friend's arm are connected with real events. It's not the same as hearing voices telling you to do things or seeing things out of the blue. Anyway, take care of your OCD first before worrying about anything worse.

You should gain enough courage to know that they are all trying to make you a fool. Don't yield to their pressure tactics. In future please don't drag me in such controversial issues.
