Whats a good way to keep hunger away?
I'v essentially figured out that Im overweight because I eat pretty late at night (even tho I try to go to the gym 2-3 times a week) and I swear its the hardest thing in the world to stop, since the feeling of a fully belly at night is just the best feeling ever. I'v started to limit my caloric intake which isn't as hard as it sounds but the night time hunger has me going crazy. Any advice on how to keep the hunger to a minimum? Hunger during the day isn't all that bad since work and other things keep me distracted but at night my mind is just free to notice any little growl or pain.
I should add that I can't really do the small amount of snacking throughout the day thing that people always bring up, I just end up eating more and more without realizing it.

You need to train your body. If you have a large meal at 9pm you need to slowly begin to reduce the size of that meal. You need to do this over a long period of time; say six months! Once that meal is at a small size, then you need to begin to have that meal a little earlier each night (say 1minute per day). Ultimately you want to arrive at a point where you have a small-to-medium sized meal at about six pm. If you find that you need another meal before bed then have a small salad.

Embrace the feeling. It means you will achieve your aim. Hunger is a positive - just don't go to extremes.
