Here is the deal:

I wanted to join the Army. I went to the recruiting office and spoke with a guy. Before I could ask any questions he sent me to the Navy area. I wanted to know about the Army National Guard, however before I could ask he sent me off.

Basically what I was told is: that since I had a marijuana charge when I was 16 (7 years ago) I could not join. I signed a deterrent agreement and never seen a judge or anything.

The Navy has told me that I have to do 6 years with them before I can join the Army via the blue-green program.

I went through USMEPCOM and their servers were down when I was supposed to review my contract. ( A good thing I think now)

I want to join the Army or the National Guard- is there any way that I can join with this charge, even though I was only 16?

Right now I have been dicked around by my recruiters and the Navy Liaison to the point that I am about to tell them to go to hell. What I have seen in the last few days at USMEPCOM is discouraging enough, however I still want to join Army or guard. I don't want to join Navy really but will if I have to. 88=ASVAB 4.0 is my GPA for 168 college credit hours.

Advice PLEASE!

I am having very bad pains in my growing (right side) about where my thigh and growing meet- hip area. The pains is in my lower back, right buttock, and down the outside of my right leg into my knee. The x rays/ct scans have come back normal, and the doctor has yet to figure out what is wrong. When I walk I feel something pulling in my growing area followed by a sharp pain that shoots from the above mentioned areas. The pain is persistent and dull, except for when I walk/move it shoots. All the doctor is doing is giving me pain medicine and muscle relaxers, none of which are helping very much.

Has somebody you know or even yourself experienced such issues? If so, what ended up being the problem?

Please help, tonight is the second night my dog has broke out in crazy amount of hives all over her body, it happened between 12am-1am, lasting about an hour, and it doesn't happen during the day. I originally thought it was her food so i changed it to a different brand this morning. I super cleaned her food and water bowls, giving her fresh water. She went all day without breaking out with these bumps. I have NO idea what so ever what this could be. We have changed absolutely nothing in our home. No new detergents for our laundry, carpet, no new cleaners, solvents, cologne, perfume, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, nothing has changed, no new foods in our home etc. I have a cat that i have had since my dog was a puppy, the cats fine and the dog has never had any problems like this before.

I am looking to start using my old om lens on my olympus e-system camera. I have ordered om-f1 om-4/3 lens adapter to do this. On the info for the adapter it said it will give you twice the focal length as you would have on a film camera. So if im using a manual 300mm lens with a 2x converter does that mean on my digital camera i will be using the equivalent of a 1200mm lens?
