I have 5 4 week old kittens, and I've started weaning them, or at least am attempting to. 3 of the 5 are lapping up the KMR, and a couple are even attempting to steal a nibble of mom's kitten food that I've put down for her. My problem is that I'm having a hard time getting the other 2 interested in the KMR. I've tried the finger dabbing, and leading them to the dish, "accidentally" spilling a little on their paw, which they do lick up, but I can't seem to get them interested at all. They only want mom. Another thing, is mom always tries to eat their food. I've separated her from the kittens while I try to feed. Again, some are hungry, others turn their noses up. Hubby tells me not to worry, because mom will eventually push them away from her. Is there a no nonsense way of helping these kittens out. I don't want them to starve. Please advise! Thanks!

We are fosters to a stray momma cat and 5 kittens. We took the pregnant momma in out of the cold. Her kittens are now 3 weeks old. One of the kittens seems to be getting crusties around her eye, and we've tried warm wet gauze to gently get the crusties off. It works for awhile, and then it starts all over again. Is there any OTC eye medicine that we can use. I want to use the vet as a last response if possible, as we're on a budget. Please advise. Thanks!

Okay, she and her boyfriend will be here in a week...and they'll be staying for a whole week *shudders*. Hubby says I worry too much on how clean the house is to be, or how trimmed the backyard is to be. Everytime we go to their house, everything seems immaculate. I have 4 kids, and I will just do what I can get done, but I worry about the things she'll say to her friends when she goes back home. She does talk. Seems like I can't win. Any advice? Should I call someone to mow the backyard (my mower is broken), or have the rooms shampoo'd etc? Or just do the best I can, and if she likes to spread rumors on how terrible of a housekeeper I am, so be it. Hubby says, if they don't like how messy we are, they can stay in a hotel. Does he have the right attitude? Thanks!

What would be the appropriate thing to wear. This is the AT&T Center downtown San Antonio. Later on we will go watch Les Miserables. We have a deck, and he's pooping and peeing on it. Any ideas on how to get him to poop in a corner of the yard. He used to do this, and after cleaning up after him, it's as if he got mad at me and decided to poop on the deck. Help!

We have a 9 month old (huge) Brindle mixed pup (70 lbs) who just started going to obedience school last week. He has been fully potty trained for a few months, but the day after obedience training started last week, he has started to urinate in the house again. Is this due to obedience training, and is this just a bump in the road and will take care of itself later on as the pup gets used to obedience? Thanks for any advice

Look what happened to Joe the Plumber. They dug up his records, SSN, where he lives, his taxes,..EVERYTHING. Is this what we can expect from an Obama administration?
