Guys,i have a compaq pressario v2000 which was woking fine for the last 9 yrs or so...since i am mainly a desktop user,so i used to use my laptop rarely.recently i switched on my laptop,it was working fine for a few days and suddenly there is absolutely no power.since i have somewhat learned pc repairing,mainly desktop,i opened up everything,checked the adapter,checked the cmos battery,checked the power voltage and everything possible but still cant find any clue.i searched over the net and found many people have faced similar issues with the same model compaq pressario v2000 and they are also searching for answer.i have even shown the 2 laptop repairing specialist,they are also in da dark world as well...can anyone suggest me any possible fix or solution...there's absolutely no problem with the charger,battery etc.i really need help this tym,because i now regularly need laptop for business presentation and cannot afford a new latop right now xcept a fix for this one.thank you all in advance....

Hi,i have a cooler master thermal paste in syringe which i bought 7-8 months back and used it at that time for my cpu and gpu.after that,i did not use it and kept the syringe like that.now i see my cpu temperatures are constantly rising,so i am thinking of changing the thermal compound and check whether the temperature reduces.but when i saw the syringe,i found out that the paste has dried out completely in the syringe and i was unable to bring out the paste by pushing the syringe.what things can i do to melt the paste and can i use it again?i am asking this because its an expensive paste and since i have used it a single time,so i caanot throw it away if it can be re-used.thank you very much in advance.

A Little Bit weired Question Though But Its Creating Serious Problems When I Am Working,If Imove My Keyboard A Little Bit And May Be If The Wire Connecting The Psu To The Motherboard Gets Moved,The Pc GOes To Standby Mode Or Shuts Down Suddenly.Since I Got My Motherboard Replaced From Intel And Facing Some Minor Issues,So What Do You Think Casuing This Problem...The Motherboard Or The Keyboard Or Anything Else?I Am Not Been Able To Find Any Clue Why Its Happening....What You Guys Think Matters The Most.......

I Have An Intel DH55HC Motherboard And It Used To Maintain A Static Temperature Of 34C.However Since The Motherboard Was Under Warranty And I Was Facing Very Minor Issues,I Sent It To Intel And They Send Me A Replaced Board Of The Same Model And I Am Running It With The Same Specs,i.e.same CPU,PSU Etc.And Everything All The Same But Its Showing A Temperature Of 38c At Idle And Increasing Very High At Load.Why Is This Happening?Does It Mean The Board Is Faulty?Does Temperature Varies With The Same Model?Intel Is Refusing To Send My Original Board Back So What To Do Now,Ask For Another Replacement Or Will I Keep This?Besides The Intel Welcome Screen Is Also Loading Very Slowly.My Original Board Used To Load The Screen Instantly But This Replaced One Is Loading It Relatively Slower.

I Have An Intel Motherboard...The Problem Is The Board Has Become A Little Bit Flexible I Mean I Can Squeeze It A Little Bit.Does That Mean The Board Is Going To Die Soon?But There Are Very Minor Performance Issues With The Board.Since The Board Is Still Under Warranty,Will I Get A Replacement Board?Will Intel Send A Better Quality Board At Replacement(I Know They Dont Send Brand New Boards But Refurbished Ones lolz),But Do I Really Need A Change Or Do I Go On With My Original Board?What Does Intel Send Previously RMA'd Board Against Replacement(I Heard Somewhere)?

Will I Notice A Significant Change In Temperature With An After Market Thermal Paste Or Will I Go With The Thermal Paste Provided By Intel For My Replaced Intel I7 Processor?Will The New Thermal Paste Provide A Significant Temperature Difference When Compared To Intel's Stock Compound.I Will Be Using The Aftermarket Thermal Paste With Intel Stock Cooler.So What To Do?Trust Intel Or Go For Aftermarket Thermal Compounds?Currently I Am Using The Stock Cooler With The Intel Provided Thermal Paste And Temperature Is Between 45-52 c without any load and at 70-80% load,temperature remains in between 55-60 c?is it normal and absolutely fine or do i change the thermal paste since its a new processor,new heatsink and new thermal paste Provided By Intel.If I Do Need To Change The Thermal Paste,What Method Should I Go For?

i know its a little bit funny question but my 3 years old intel motherboard has become flexible i mean i can squeeze/bent the board (not completely) a little bit.does it mean the board is dying or has a shorter lifespan left or is it just like that?i have tried another board of the same model but it could not be squeezed,its a refurbished board from intel i think.will i get a warranty replacement from intel since the board i am having is still under warranty or will i go with my old motherboard which is working flawlessly with some very minor issues.does intel send new board in warranty replacement or they send refurbished board?if they send refurbished/repaired board,then i dont need it.

I recently got a replacement of my intel i7 processor for intel since it was under warranty and was failing to boot constantly.After i got the replacement processor,it was working absolutely fine with my old Intel motherboard.but later since i was having some minor issues with my old intel board like all the memory slots were not working properly,onboard lan not working properly and the main problem was that i was able to bent the motherboard as it has somehow become flexible (how i dont know and could not find a clue for that),so i decided to have a motherboard replacement as well and intel send me a replacement board for the exisiting board with the same model.the problem is when i installed the processor in it,from the first day i can notice significant changes like intel boot screen loading slowly and overall system performance has gone down and a little bit higher motherboard temperature when compared to my old board when compared to my old motherboard.so i decided to install a fresh copy of windows and updated with all the latest drivers provided in intel website for the specific model.i have swapped the ram also and tested the ram but did not find any errors whatsoever.i contacted intel and they told me the same to install a fresh copy of windows and update the drivers as well and said that after the fresh install,the motherboard performance and stability will be the exact same like my old motherboard.but unfortunately after doing everything recommended by intel,still the performance is relatively lower when compared to my old 3 years motherboard.I dont need to upgrade the bios as intel has already done that.So i asked intel to send back my old motherboard to me and take away this one.if a replaced board create the same problems like the old one with added problems like slow boot and slow system performance,why does intel send replacement boards then?they should have repaired my old motherboard and send it back to me.any possible solutions without changing the motherboard again will be highly appreciated.And please suggest me if i do need to get this board again replaced by intel.its a major issue i am unable to cope with since i have tried many solutions but it failed.i even tested the new cpu and it came without any errors.Also can you please suggest me any real software that can check the motherboard for errors,tried many softwares but all are junk.

i have got an old audigy se sb0570 card which is working fine but whenever i am playing music through realtek hd audio,i cant find any difference.the thing is i am getting a fair price for the audigy card,will i sell it?which card is better?even the person who assembled my desktop has said that realtek hd is way better than creative.i am confused a lil bit...plz.help guys....thnx in advance....god bless u all....

i am using bsnl broadband through a teracom adsl type 2 modem/router provided by bsnl.I have an onboard lan card intel (R)82578dc gigabit network through which i connect to the internet.the problem i am facing for 7-8 months is whenever i switch the modem on,i cannot connect to the internet.after i remove the dsl cable and the dsl light starts blinking,i put the cable in it again and then again i am able to connect to the internet.a bsnl person came to my home and he asked me to change the modem as it was under rent,i changed the modem from bsnl ,got a new one of the same model and brand but the same problem persists.now even that person cant rectify whats the exact problem is.he was guessing probably whether the lan card is defective and many other things but i dont have a seperate lan card to test and this intel (R) 82578dc lan card in in built.i want to know a few things,is this really a lan card problem or any other problem and if it really is a lan card problem,how to test whether the lan card is poroperly working or not.its surely not a modem problem becasue ithey changed me for a brand new one.i am confused,please help me.

I Suffered for severe anxiety disorder for 7-8 years now and prescribed rivotril 0.5mg and nexito 10mg first.my doctor used to alter the doses but later severe insomnia and depression came and my doctor added minnite 15mg and later he chnged it to minnite 30 mg.but last 1yr.i am looking ways to quit and i consulted a neuro psychiatrist and she prescribed me rivotil 05 mg nexito 10mg 1/2 for one week and then stop and minnite 30 mg as usual.but after quitting nexito 10mg,i am having lighheadness,drwosy feeling whole day,dizziness,shoulder pain and headache.is this a withdrwal symptom which will go away after a few days or again i have to start nexito 10mg.please help me doctors,i am only 26 and its spoiling my life completely.i need prominent answer on how to completely withdraw these medicines,its spoiling my work life social life and almost everything...please help me......

I m 27.my height is 5'10.my weight was 83 kgs.after joining gym for about 2mnths.my weight got reduced to 80 kgs.but its fluctuating very much,sometimes its getting 79.2,sometimes 79.4 and sometimes 80 kgs.i am mainting a proper diet chart according to the dietician but the thing that i want to know that why is it fluctuating...is there any serious remedy which can reduce my wieght quickly and my belly fast.any excercise or diet chart [must be indian] which can reduce weight and belly in a very quick time.please guys i need a good answer from you all.the thing which is killing me is not my wight,its my belly...i want a nearby to absolute flat stomach.thats what i want,i didnt join gym for building muscles,its all about reducing wieght and getting a good shape.i am not worried about how many kgs.i lost in how many mnths.its about the wieght which is not stabilizing.

I Have A Seagate Hard Drive Which Is 4 Years Old Now...I Use It As A Slave Drive To My New PC..And By No Means Its Under Warranty...Recently I Am Facing Some Problems With The Drive....I Have Immediately Backed Up All My Important Data.Fortunately The Disk Is Still Running Now.Does Seagate Provides Chargeable Repair For Products Which Are Not Under Warranty?

i am planning to buy a dvd writer from asus.one is oem version with domestic term 3years warranty and the other is retail version with 1 year warranty.which one to buy?i could not understand the difference different warranty for the same product.plz.explain a lil bit in details.best answer will be appreciated.thnx.in advance.

i have used lite on,sony,samsung and hp dvd writer.my last dvd writer lasted 2 yrs.which is from hp and the main problem i faced was the dvd tray not coming out properly.now i am planning to buy a new internal dvd writer.i have read many revies and i am pretty confused with asus and lite-on.which brand to buy?i have also heard of plextor dvd writer but its not available in india and dont refer me to websites like amazon or ebay.i just need an answer-Asus Or Lite-on?

i have an old 80 gb seagate ide hard disk which i use as external to my new machine.the problem is that i use it in a 3.5 ide hdd enclosure with usb 2.0.i am using this enclosure for the past two years,frequently whenever i used to plugin the hard disk to my pc,it used to freeze xp.but after reboot it used to run normally.now the problem is whenever i am coonecting it to the pc,it shows a new hardware is found and used to freeze xp until i restart it directly,and after restart,if i plugin the usb to the pc,the same thing happens.is it my hard disk is dying or is it the enclosure is having some problem,i changed the adapter cable,the usb cable,but nothing happens xcept the same thing.plz.help me out guyz.

i have an intel motherboard which has inbuilt 82578DC Gigabit Network Connection Network Adapter.i also have a d-link 520tx ethernet adapter.i am pretty confused which one to use.which will give me more browsing and download speed?

will i have to install all net framework i mean all the versions i.e.1.1,2 and sp2,3,3.5 and 4 or only one version out of this?
