Thus far, YA! is the extent of social networking. There are no plans to delve into the world of MySpace or Facebook just yet. I am just your basic conservative republican from the Midwest. Formspring: http://www.formspring.me/alexmcveeley

  • Name of recent theater movie?

The trailer was played fairly recently, although I can't remember when the movie came out, or if it even has yet. A group of military types are sitting in a room like they are taking a test. The instructor tells them that they are not allowed to talk to him or the guard that is in the room. One of the testers then realizes that they can talk among themselves, and that they have a certain amount of time to figure out the test. It looked like a fight broke out at some point. Also, I think the title may have included a number, perhaps the amount of time that they had.

I might be able to go in September for the first time. I wish I didn't have to wait another 10 years if I miss it. Share your opinion if you've ever been.

  • Name of the movie about a found college term paper?

I remember that is was a homeless man who found or stole someone's college term paper. He then sold it back one page at a time to the student in exchange for food and shelter. At the end, the man was dying alone, but the student had developed feelings for him and wouldn't let him die alone. This is the best I can remember, and it may not have even been any good.

  • CDL class A bus endorsement?

I have to renew my class A CDL in a couple of months. I currently have a passenger endorsement that is restricted to a Class C from an old job. Since I'm renewing, I would like to get the restriction off just to have every endorsement on my license for bragging rights. However, a school bus that test sites use are only good for a class B plus S, thereby still leaving me with a restriction. Know of any sites that have a large Class A bus? It would probably have to be an articulating bus. Companies that operate them provide the vehicle for testing for their employees, but I need one to rent to take the test. I live in Indiana but will travel because the state accepts out-of-state-test.

  • What is this type of semi trailer called?

What are the trailers called where the front end sits very high on the 5er plate but real low on the back end? I assume that the trailer lays flat on the ground when unloaded almost like having a roll-off container with an axle on the rear. If you have any experince, how are they to pull?

  • Looking for songs that feature a steel guitar prominently.?

I'm looking for songs I can listen to on Rhapsody that have a good sequence of a steel guitar, preferably in the gospel or country genre. Also, for players, how long did it take for you to learn to play well, and does it help to know how to play a regular guitar first.

Examples I've found include Marty Robbins 'Jenny', and The Kendalls 'Here Today & Gone Tomorrow'.

  • What does a plus sign in front of a phone number mean?

Someone called my cell phone and the number had a plus sign in front of it, followed by a 12 digit number. I'm guessing the first two to be a country access code? The number started as +44144, and then a 7 digit number.

  • Converting a WordPad document into a spreadsheet?

I saved a pretty big chunk of information in a Wordpad document and then realized it would be a lot easier to make changes in a spreadsheet. Is there any way to convert it without having to re-enter everything? It's about 3 pages worth of stuff in a single column but I could fit everything in just one spreadsheet page. I have Windows Vista (major regret) Home Premium if that matters. Thanks.

  • Where to learn officiating?

I recently started to play flag football on a small town local league and I'm now becoming interested in learning to be an official. Do you know of any good schools or city parks department that has a national well recognized training program? I can learn from the locals but would also like good formal training as well. I officiated softball years ago, but lost interest and I think it was a lack of good training that frustrated me. I will read all answers before awarding the points.

  • What do you think of white couples adopting black children?

Is this a good or bad trend? Is there an element of wanting recognition for adopting without having to ask for it directly, or is it just solely a desire to help children no matter their race? I will read all answers before awarding the points. Please look at my other questions as well.
