I tried to do the water test where you spit in a glass cup, wait 15mins and if there is a strand coming down then theres a chance you have it or if it disappears then your safe. i found 1 strand, does that mean I have it? what are the treatments usually for males? thanks!

My jack dempsey is living in his aquarium in my room by itself and my oscar is living in his tank in livingroom by itself. They are both the same size and same family (cichlid). Since they've never seen each other before and used to their own space. Is there a way to introduce them or they should get along. They both seem kind of fiesty.

Due to connection difficulties...i have decided to use a regular AA 1.5v battery to power this solar walkway light. I have disconnected the electrical wire so the "solaring" will not be in use. With this nonrechargeable battery taking the old recharagable battery's place, I was wondering how many hours can this 1.5v battery power 1 led.

what the title says...solar walkway lights are the solar powered lamp/lights people put on their sidewalk and they turn on at night to guide you, it's LED powered.

It comes with a rechargeable battery and it says to use rechargeable batteries ONLY. There was a problem, it won't turn on so I changed batteries to a regular AA one (duracell) and it worked perfectly! I put the same rechargeable one back in and it did not work. Can I use a regular AA one? will that mess up the solar? thanks in advance

I don't know how this happened, I woke up around 3am and found a long crack running from the bottom of the tank to the top (the posterior side of the glass where you put a wallpaper). I was wondering if theres a way to fix that maybe with silicone or something. I rather not buy a whole new one because of money issue and specific measurement problem. question is: is there a way to fix that or seal it up so it doesnt leak any more or is it best to buy a new aquarium tank. thanks

I'm planning to get an oscar fish but i'm not sure if I should add the driftwood and plants and THEN put in the oscar or is it okay to add the driftwood and plants AFTER the oscar is in the tank. keep in mind this oscar is like 2-3 inches so hopefully uprooting plants wouldn't be a big problem.

Also, does anyone know any low light plants that would go best with oscars?? Thanks in advance!

I USED to have turtles and they pooped alot. My white spongy filter media in my fluval canister is real dirty. I'm planning to get an oscar fish. I have washed the white filter media but it still has brown stains. Can i still use it for the new oscar fish or should i buy new ones. I'm low on cash right now so I was wondering if it's safe to use turtle media for new fish since it still has some turtle fecal in the media. thanks

Their gettin too big for my tank and so far i'm planning to release them at a lake close by. I rather do that than give/sell it to someone and have them stuck in a 10gal (their about 5 inches or 6 inches in diameter) Does anyone have any ideas? I can't find any shelter for it.

What the title says. After I use it, I hang it outside of my house to let it air dry and I guess that is what created mildew or mold to grow inside of it. How do I clean the inside of the tube?

I would wash my car today and the next day it'd get dirty and you can see the dirt and dust piling on it. I have a blue 03 accord. Is it because there is no wax on it? I clay bar it also but I don't add wax. It would look really nice after a nice wash but the next day I would feel dust on it. It's as if my car is a dust magnet. How do i prevent dust sticking on the car that fast. i see many cars on the road but it looks like they wash it everyday or something.

I'm planning to get Logitech x 540 speakers for my computer and i want it around my room for surround sound but unfortunately the speaker wire is too short. Some people said they extend it by buying a female-male RCA cable but I'm not sure if that will lower the quality of the sound.

Question is: will extending the cable reduce the sound quality of the speakers or no. and what cables would be best to get the best sound out of it. thanks in advance :)

When I got my 03 honda accord, i noticed there were small rock chips on it and when i feel it, it feels rough, Clay baring the window doesn't work either. Question is..Should I wet sand it? and if so, what grit? Should I then apply wax after? or should I even apply wax to windows? will it benefit me if I do or harm me. Thanks!!

Hello, i'm writing an essay for my science class. I am planning to major as an RN Nurse. My question is, how does Biology relate to nurses. I cannot think of any off the top of my head. Everytime I do a water change every 2 weeks, the bottom of the stem looks really brown and moist and basically squishy, it's basically dead. As for the rest of it, it's thriving nice and green. Sometimes middle of the stem breaks off, it turns brown and breaks off. How do I prevent this from happening? Most of the leafs have died too. The stem is really thin too and it's very lopsided whereas petco's elodas stem is nice and thick. How do I get it that way? thanks!
