The screen is protected. No scratches. Ive had a case on since I bought it. All buttons working fine. Great shape, A friend wants to buy it from me, but I don't know how much it's worth right now.

It's from a short story. And do you think it actually means something? Heres the situation:

A girl turned on her electronic fireplace. (those ones powered by gas) She sat in front of it, and then saw a spider inside. It gets hotter and hotter and the spider is struggling. Trying to escape. After a minute or so, it ran into the fire.

I'm writing a short story for school. And the characters are challenged with the question of morality. One person died and the other is questioning herself if she should eat him or not. But I don't know how to get them into the setting that is realistic enough. Thank you for you help!
