Can you help me with french?
I'm trying to learn french and I'm working on articles in this workbook. In the exercise it says to use the proper article in each sentence which is dependant on whether the noun in the sentence is masculine or feminine. Each sentence has more than one noun so which one is it? I just want to know if I'm doing this stuff correctly. Here's the sentences:
Les cahiers _______ etudiants sont ouverts (so is etudiants the noun and is "des" the right article?)
La petite fille est dans l'auto _______ son pere. (is pere the noun and is "de" correct?)
Les mots ________phrases sont difficiles. (is phrases the noun and is "des" correct?)
Thanks for your help.

2 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI have a very large dog is it normal for him to drool excessively?
He normally drools a lot when he is anticipating getting food, but tonight he's been drooling even more. I think he was nervous today because of a stressful situation so can that be part of it? Can it be something he's eaten? We've been mopping up little pools of saliva on the floor every place he's been sitting or laying down and I'm wondering if he's okay. He's seems fine in every other way.

2 AnswersDogs8 years agoHow do I prune my hibiscus so that it gets bushier growth?
I live in Ontario and I have a hibiscus plant that I always bring inside during the winter. It always does really well after pruning it each spring, but I notice the foliage grows long instead of compact and bushy. Is there a way to prevent it from getting such long and straggly growth? It still looks healthy, dark and green, but it almost grows too quickly as the branches get so tall. Should I fertilize it less? I usually give it a multi-purpose fertilizer for blooming plants.

1 AnswerGarden & Landscape9 years agoWhy do some people report answers that aren't even offensive?
Some person posted that they were stressed out and really wanted to smoke meth.
I answered "meth really f**ks you up in a big way. Get help if you can't live without it"
Can somebody please explain to me how this is so terrible? Sure I could have typed "really messes you up" instead of using an altered swear word. But the thing is....I was trying to be helpful to prevent this person from destroying their health. So why would somebody (probably the person who posted the question) report me? I'm wondering if they already were on drugs and that's why they reported my answer, because it doesn't make sense to me. I've seen far worse stuff posted on here than what I posted.
Also, have any of your answers ever been unfairly reported?

2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture9 years agoDo you think society in general has become very selfish?
It seems to me that people have more of a self-centered attitude compared to decades before. Neighbors, friends, and even strangers generally used to care more for others. This is just an opinion and maybe my opinion is extreme, but I'm curious about what you think. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

1 AnswerSociology9 years agoLed Zeppelin 3 - can I have your opinions on the song Tangerine?
During the chorus to this song the blending of the voices sounds discordant, or out of tune to me. This song sounds imperfect and I'm thinking that's part of the reason I like it, compared to bands like Boston where everything sounds perfect. So, my question to all you musical people is when listening to the chorus and the part of "In betweeeeeen" Does this sound a bit out of tune to you? Also, do you like this song? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

1 AnswerReality Television9 years agoWhy do people renew their wedding vows?
Marriage isn't like a car licence that needs to be renewed before it expires. If a couple needs to prove how much they love each other then why not show it each and every day instead. Isn't one marriage sufficient (and expensive enough?)
