Bathroom sink is returning water. Pipes are clear to stack and stack is draining water when a full on hosepipe is put into the wall stack itself. Does that mean the blockage is in the room vent?

Cat is six, used to be up all day playing and sleep at night. Now she is sleeping night and day. Eating okay etc and if I go pick her up she is heavy like she is in a deep sleep, but purrs. I miss playing with her. She is in the same chair almost 24hrs.

It is an old toilet, will the nut that holds the tank on be rusted and hard to remove? The water is leaking at the back of the toilet between the water tank and toilet head.
