A guy I work with asked me out on a date. I gave him my number on Monday, he asked me to hang out the same night.

We had a terrible first date - I was unintentionally mean to him, we argued intensely, and then we ended up having a really cool conversation before I went home. He asked me to hang out the next day, and we did.

The next night seemed to go really well. We talked, cuddled, and he said we should hang out more before I dropped him off.

He wasn't in at work the next day, I sent him a text to inquire about the tattoo work he was getting done, no response. I brushed it off, and at work on Thursday, I stopped by his desk (interested in the new tattoo) and I felt like he didn't want to see me AT ALL. He was in the middle of a phone call, but he barely looked at me!

So I chilled out last night, didn't say hi to him at work Friday, but I really want to see him again.

He said he doesn't like clingy women and likes space, but I can't tell if he wants room or doesn't want me. Help!

Sometime last night, my internet connection went down. I connect directly to the router via a cable, but my roommates connect wirelessly. The internet is connected and working on both computers. I checked my network connection via the control panel, and it does say LAN enabled. I tried unplugging the cable and restarting, clearing the cache and restarting, and nothing worked. Any ideas?

It just sounds confusing - are they asking for twice the usual rent as a deposit in addition to the rent for the month you move in, or just one months rent in addition to your monthly rent?

I haven't lived on my own before, and the wording on that is unclear to me.

Last night my folders were fine, but today I noticed that picture thumbnails were no longer functioning when browsing any of my folders. The only thing I deleted at all yesterday were a few quarantine logs in AdAware -- I don't see how that would affect my folder thumbnails. I can get it to display icons, but not thumbnails of the actual pictures. When you select a thumbnail view, you get the text name of the file with no details (usually it shows some details also). Can I fix this?

I am trying to encourage my friend to have sex with my fiance so I can trick her into having sex with me too, is that wrong? My friend is straight, but I think that all women secretly like women.

I know one is soft noodles and the other is crisp, but I always forget which is which.

I sort-of hate exercise, so going out running is something I know I won't do. Also, the gym is a no-go because the gym at my college is overcrowded and I can't stand being around so many people, also I have absolutely no time for it. I don't really know ways that I could do something good for my body in my room in minimal time.

Also, what kinds of diet is appropriate for vegetarians? I like cooked vegetables, but I am really not into raw. A lot of the time I eat cream soups (cream of broccoli or potato-leek), cereal with soy milk, pb&j, and starches. I cut out desserts for the most part, but I eat yogurt still. I don't think my diet is inherently bad, but I was wondering if there was a way to diversify it in a way that stimulates my metabolism and balances me out nutritionally.

I'm not very overweight, maybe 5 pounds, but I have gotten substantially "bigger" size-wise in the last 6-8 months -- I was a size 4-6 and now I'm an 8-12.

I feel horrible about the way I look, what can I do?

I'm a 34DD and five feet tall. My boobs are very large for my body, and as a result I feel like my boobs arent as perky as they "should" be for a 22 year old. They don't point down or anything, but I feel like because women who are on TV or in movies all have perky boobs, men are going to think I look gross.

Is it all in my head or do men really expect big breasts to all look like they do in porn and on TV?

I asked this question in the cat section last week or so, but the answers weren't very good. Then I found out there is a zoology section, which is where I would've asked in the first place if I had known it existed.

I sit indian style a lot and my feet/legs are constantly falling asleep. Why does this happen? Should I be worried? I don't want to have to change the way I sit because sitting indian style is really the only way I am comfortable, if not for my feet falling asleep on me.

Why do people get so upset when they see a woman who doesn't shave? I mean really, why does anyone care what other people do with their body?

My theory is that most women are threatened by other women being confident about their bodies because they are insecure, especially when they see another woman who looks unconventional and is confident.

I've been looking for an Ethiopean restaurant in CT and found an Eritrean one, someone told me the food is the same. Is this true? Also, if anyone actually knows a good restaurant in CT, I'd really appreciate it if they could make a suggestion.

I have a friend coming to visit me next month. I met him online 8 years ago, and about a year ago things turned romantic/sexual. We have never met. Technically we're not together, but we are in love with each other and intend to be together when I graduate from college (May), we just don't want to commit while we live so far away. Anyway, I basically lied to all of my friends about how I met him. They think we went to high school together and he just happens to live halfway across the country. Is it pointless to lie about how I met him in this day and age?

Sometimes I worry that making up a fake story is really silly, and that we will probably get the story messed up when he actually comes here anyway. Also, I wonder if we're going to have to lie forever if things do work out and we end up living together.

Anyway, what would you do in this situation?
