"blackberry in holster" - what does this mean?
I just got my first blackberry yesterday and I'm trying to set it up and personalize it. I'm trying to change the volume profiles, and I saw 2 settings for everything: 1 - in holster and 2 - not in holster.
Just wondering what this means.

4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoFor those who use Natural Family Planning, Fertility Awareness Method to prevent pregnancy.?
My question is how long have you been using this method and how effective has it been in preventing you from getting pregnant? (I am assuming of course that you are following the method correctly.)
Have you gone many many years without getting pregnant? How many years?
1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade agoHow do you reconcile being Catholic and using contraception?
I was born Catholic and religion is important to me, but at the same time, I don't want to have too many children. I married my first boyfriend, and we've been married for 11 years. We have a 3 year old son and 8 1/2 month old twins. Life is full.
I know about Natural Family Planning. I have actually used it to get pregnant, but never used it to avoid pregnancy. I'm afraid about it not be effective.
I also know that using contraception is a mortal sin.
I am having internal conflict, because clearly the idea of contraception and Catholicism doesn't mix.
If you are Catholic and uses contraception, how do you reconcile these within yourself?

Some people talk about dual citizenship after becoming U.S. citizens. Is this an option INS gives them? Or does the person automatically have dual citizenships from then on?
9 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhy does Medium say Phoenix is in Mariposa County?
I lived in Phoenix, AZ and know for a fact that the county is called Maricopa County. Not Mariposa. Anyone know why? Shows usually try to be accurate about these things.
Then on the premier last night, there was a woman speaking Tagalog (from the Philippines). And the shows says she is in Indonesia.

2 AnswersInternet1 decade agoHow long does a System Recovery on a computer take?
I am doing a System Recovery on my laptop hoping that it'll make some problems go away. It asked me for the recovery disks #1 (I'm assuming this is the 3 Recovery disks I made a long time ago). Then it asked me for disk#2, which I put it. After 25 minutes, it asked for the first CD again, and then the 2nd. It has asked me to this several times. I am now in the middle of the 4th time. It hasn't asked for disk#3 yet.
Is this normal? Will it keep asking me to insert#1, and then #2 over and over? Or is it messed up?
10 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWill a laptop battery lose charge if it's plugged in all the time?
I use my laptop everyday at home so it's always plugged in. I rarely ever have to unplug it. Will the battery lose charge?
Also, is it ok to keep the laptop on all the time like a regular computer? Am I shortening it's life by doing this?
6 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHow do I get rid of mushrooms in my flower bed?
I have a big flower bed in the front of the house with a lot of mulch and it's growing muchrooms since it's been rainy and gloomy these past few days. There are different kinds as far as I can see. Are mushrooms harmful to the plants? I have also seen some mushrooms growing on the base of one boxwood. If it is harmful, how do I get rid of them?
7 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoMy miniature schnauzer's from botoom teeth are loose, what could be wrong?
Yesterday I noticed that there was a gap between the 2 center teeth, so I checked it out. One was very lose and a cracked. Then I also noticed that the other 3 front ones are a little lose, but not too terrible.
She may have bitten something very hard, which explains that cracked tooth. But I don't think this would explain the others though. Has anyone experienced lose teeth in their dogs?
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhen do I apply preemergence weed killer to my lawn?
My lawn is not even established yet (it's only been a year) and it's been taken over by crabgrass. I'm growing fescue but when the weather gets warm, the crabgrass takes over. Not just a few, I'm talking the whole thing!
So the question is, what kind of preemergence weed control do I get and when do I apply it? Fall, spring? What ground temp?
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoCan you help me identify what kind of grass/weed this is?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/76611144@N00/
Here's the problem, I've been trying to grow tall fescue on my yard. Every spring, the fescue comes up, but when the hot summer days come they brown out and this weird grass comes up. Problem is, I don't know what kind of grass this is. Is it even a grass or is a weed? What is it? And why does it take over when it gets too hot?
Thanks for your help.
7 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoAny ideas on fixing the AC drain from not causing erosion & puddle in the side of my house?
There is a pipe that sticks out in the side of my house that drips water from the AC. Since it's been so hot, the AC is practically going nonstop and is creating a great big muddy puddle outside. It's caused a dip (path) because it's eroded the soil.
Any ideas on what to do so it doesn't create such a muddy mess?
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoIs there something wrong with my central AC unit, it's wet?
I just went outside to water the lawn and noticed that the bottom of the AC unit is wet and is actually growing mildew. The AC unit is in the side of the house sitting on a big square slab of concrete to keep it level. The other AC unit (for the 2nd floor of the house) is dry as can be, but this one is just went. This can't be good? How bad is this? Should I call an HVAC person ASAP?
