We have some sort of animal living in the attic. What could it be?
We called an animal control guy, who came out and went on the roof and said he thinks it's mice. However, this animal is making much louder thumping noises than mice, and it is also making noises that sound like a raccoon. The animal control guy found no holes, so how this animal got in is a mystery. Maybe it's a ghost. I want to go up there but am terrified as to what is gonna be facing back at me. Any suggestions?
13 AnswersRodents1 decade agoBackpacking through Europe? Cost? Helpful Information? Anything?!?
I'm considering backpacking through Europe, however, I really can't seem to figure out how much it will cost? Backpacking your way is supposidly the most economical way of doing this - but a month seems like it might cost me an arm and a leg.
I would like to travel to these cities:
London
Paris
Amsterdam
Berlin
Prague
innsbruck (or somewhere in the Alps)
Venice
Rome
Naples
Barcelona
Madrid
Any info on backpacking would be helpful actually! Thanks!
10 AnswersOther - Europe1 decade agoMy sister-in-law out of the blue decided to claim my family is crazy. How is this justified??!?
So basically, one day, she just decided to tell my mom that she never wants to come to our house ever again. She told my mom and dad that she was embarrased to have them as in-laws, and that her brother and sister's in-laws are far better than they would ever be. She said that our family is wrong, and that my parents, who have been married for almost 30 years, have a bad marriage. She told my mom that it's wrong for her to go on shopping trips with her friends, and that my dad going on business trips is wrong. She believes that you have to live together 24/7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think she needs to learn the notion of trust. I don't understand where this is coming from, but my brother needs to stand up for his family. We're not the perfect family, but we're not as crazy as she's making us out to be. We never have fights, and never have we questioned our love for each other. What's worse, is that my 2 year old niece, and my nephew who's on the way are going to be hurt by this!
9 AnswersFamily1 decade agoWhat would the world be like if everybody took everything literally?
I was reading somebodies question about "hooking up" and I thought to myself, "that would be really funny if people actually hooked together"
Then i got to thinking, what if people people who say they are "chillin" are actually sitting in their fridges "chillin".
Just imagine how interesting the world would be if we actually were doing the correct definition of these words!
10 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat's your burning question? That question of which you want to know the answer, yet, you fear asking?
We all have questions we want to ask but:
A. We think people will judge us.
B. We are embarrassed.
C. We don't want to waste 5 points.
So here's your turn to give it a go - ask your burning question - and as the added bonus, you get 2 points!
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat is your opinion: Should we welcome 3 new planets or say good-bye to Pluto?
With a vote scheduled to decide the fate of Pluto set for August 24th, do you think we should accept the new definition that any round object orbitting the sun is a planet, or not. If not, then Pluto would be cut loose from our current solar system and we would only have 8 instead of 9. If you think we should accept the new definition, then we would go from 9 to 12. This includes a new planet that would find a spot in between Mars and Jupitor, one of Pluto's moons, and another called "Xena" beyond Pluto.
What are your thoughts, would you accept it?
22 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoBack in Season 2 of Laguna Beach.. when visiting Cabo, what hotel did they stay at?
I'm not asking this question because I want to live the lives of these kids, but I'm going to be visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in the near future and the resort they stayed at looked beautiful and close to those big beautiful rock formations. Do you know what hotel it is they were at??
If not, have you been to Cabo and can recommend a good resort to stay at?
1 AnswerTelevision1 decade agoAre you watching Big Brother All Stars? What was Janelle thinking?!?
I seriously cannot understand why Janelle thought putting up two floaters would be the best move on her part, because it seems more like the WORST move for her game.
By putting up the floaters, the floaters and her own alliance are going to be against her. She'll only have Boogy and Dr. Will on her side, while everyone else will be out to get her.
Had she put Dr. Will on the block then it would have been the other way around and Janelle would continue to be safe. I really do not understand what was going on in that woman's head. I think she is just in love with Dr. Will and doesn't want to see him leave.
What are your thoughts?
7 AnswersTelevision1 decade agoCan you transfer songs from your iPod to a computer who's hard drive was erased?
(the first two paragraphs aren't necessary, skip to paragraph 3)
My computer's hard drive recently ran into overdrive and fried itself. The company we sent it to was supposed to save all of our files. Well, they saved all the files under my mom's profile, my dad's profile and my brother's profile... but, everything in my profile has disappeared.
I was the computer administrator and my profile was password protected. Also, all my files were not made available to anybody else. So, either my files are trapped in a profile that doesn't exist or they're gone forever.
Anyways, this means that I have 1000 songs that seem to have disappeared from my computer. They are all on my iPod though and I'm wondering if there is any way to transfer the songs back to the computer. I know it's possible to transfer songs from an old computer to a new computer using the iPod, but that involves having your existing library of music.
2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoHoly crap, did anyone else think that tonight in Southern Ontario was like a scene out of Twister?
I should have said that in the form of IS because it's still lightning and thundering here in KW.
I was in Elora today and this huge storm rolled in and apparently a tornado touched down and I had no idea!!!!!
Then tonight the blue sky literally turned black as giant storm clouds rolled in. It was perfect conditions for a tornado and warnings are across southern ontario. AHHHH
Did any one see a tornado today or tonight or a funnel cloud or have anything crazy happen because of the wild storms?

6 AnswersTrivia1 decade agoHave you ever noticed that Coke in a can tastes different from Coke out of a fountain?
Why does Coke from a fountain taste different from Coke in can. And why does Coke in a 2L bottle taste different from Coke in a can and from a fountain. And why does Coke from a 591mL bottle taste different from Coke in a 2L bottle. WHY WHY WHY!??!
I personally prefer Coke from a fountain.
17 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks1 decade agoWoah... when you think about it, because of time zones, there are places living in the future!?
This is honestly tripping me out. If I'm in North America, then Europe is living in the future because it's already tomorrow! And then I continued to think about how it's even further into the future in Asia! Then I got to Australia! GO FIGURE, same thing! And then I went all the way around the world in time zones and came upon North America and realised I'm living in the future!!
AHHHHHH!!
Oh yeah.. a question..
Umm, what's the name of your city spelt backwards.
Mine's Oolretaw.

11 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoGas prices are high, but regardless, we will run out of gas soon.?
I understand the concept of supply and demand, but we're paying oil companies for what? It's not like they're going out and doing everything they can to find more oil. Technically, if there's nothing left, shouldn't gas prices go down? Does this not prove that oil companies are stealing our money?

Elora's got 40 foot cliffs and a sandy beach. There's rocks which you can climb and jump from.
What quarry's have you been to, why would you recommend them? Can you jump off the high cliffs without being hurt?
