I am a 23 year old female, trying to find a roommate. I am a recent college graduate looking to strike out on my own. I realize that I can't afford it on my own, but still feel aprehensive about getting a roommate. Where can I find a decent one? I think it would be better not to live with a close friend because you tend to allow them to get away with much more than a stranger. But I would like someone who shares my interests and is easy to get along with. Help if anyone knows any other sites or other solutions. If it helps I live in South Jersey.

I want out, I dream about leaving and have not been there 6 month yet. I am so scared to leave. I don't even know why. A part of me just wants to unplug my phone, hide under my bed and do a no-call no show. The thing is I work in social work field and know this wont be anything new to them. In fact they have had at least 6 people in last year. What do I do, should I lie about why I am quitting? Should I quit over the phone? Should I just not show up and don't use them as a reference?

I am considering moving in with my boyfriend who is 8 years older than I am. We have only been together about 6 months, but we seem to have a very strong connection. I know my parents would be very against it. They want me to continue my education which mean going to law school, which means big money, which means not being able to afford to pay rent, which means working full time, which means not going to law school. See the circle! But I am sick of only really seeing my beau on the weekend. How do I handle this.

My boyfriend of 4 years decided he dodn't want to take me back after a horrible fight. I told him I think we shouldn't be together and he agreed and that was it. Anyways I tried to hold on but I finally gave up and told him to please never call, write, email, text, or anything else. I just needed him all out or all in. That was over a month ago, today he leaves me a message, he was not drunk (he does not drink, ever) to say he hopes I am ok, and that even if I dont call he wishes me the best. What is this about?

Have you ever had liposuction when you were not at an ideal weight? I know they say the best thing is to reach an ideal weight. But is it possible without being at an ideal weight? And what happens if it is performed. Which is better liposuction or abdominalplasty? Please let me know your stories!!! Oh and about how much did it cost you?

So I just came home from college this May; all my college friends the few that I keep in touch with are too far to see regularly. My old high school friends have moved on with their lives (kids, marriage, full time jobs and relationships) so I can't really bond with them. How do I make friends again? LOL No really I work with a bunch of stiff bankers so that is not an option. I just need to know where to meet them not how to make them per say. Any help!!!? I live close to a city but I dont want to club alone. Just need a side kick that I can hang out with and meet new people through

Why do people make it seem like the only way to mend a broken heart is time, and friends. What about people who have no friends? Or some that dont have too much time? I miss him now. I have been dealing with his back and forth crap for 2 months. He has been saying he loves me and then saying how scared of a relationship he is in the same breathe. I dont want to cut this man off. I dont want to turn my back on him because he thinks thats what I was gonna do, but I hate being hurt!!! I dont have the time and I dont want to put this on my friends!!!

My bf is too scared to give us another chance again. Which has lead me to be heart broken and totally psychotic. So the thing is he tells me he loves me and wants to marry me and I can only assume that means he needs time because he wont tell me how he feels. I love him so... what do I do? I am 21, he is 22 we been together for 4 years on and off, he is going through personal drama and said he needs time to do him. I totally believe he isn't cheating or with someone else. I need out of this house. I have been away at college for the last 4 years and moved back in this May 2006. My parents mostly my father is going to drive me to drink (more than I already do, lol). I recently got a job and plan to get a part time second ( I love having my own money, and buying something new). But I know they will try to talk me out of moving out. They already mentioned me not moving. I eventually want to go back and get my law degree, so that will put a major dent in work and money. And once I move out I don't want to have to move back.

I am talking to this guy, he is ok, I guess. But I think he is a liar. He really wants a serious relationship, and constantly tells me that he wants me to be loyal to him and build on a relationship. Now listen to this and tell me if it makes sense to you. He says yesterday that he took his daughter shopping for school and purchased 6 pair of sneakers, a $400 coat, and 3 pairs of boots. That is not counting the clothes. Mind you he has no car and I have never seen him with money. The thing is I tell him strait out "YOU are lying" and he insists he isn't. Why? I mean really why? I don't believe him but I am open to suggestions to his problem.

Why do white people say ignorant things about African Americans or any other cultures for that matter and then try to play it off with "I have a lot of black friends". I mean who cares How many supposed black friends you have? That doesn't allow you to make a racist comment. You do realize that, right?

What is the meanest thing you ever done to an ex?

I miss my ex, we broke up but now we can't get back together because he needs time to get his life straight. I dont believe he is dating anyone else, in fact I am very sure he isn't. Problem is he feels like we cant be friends yet because we can't be honest with each other, so I told him until he gets his mind right to stop calling. I was trying to move on and he would call and say he loved and missed me, but still didn't know when he wanted to start us again. What do I do?!!! I can't call but I miss him so!

I went to go see my male interest. He is not my boyfriend but says he considers our relationship monagamous, which is fine by me. Now we were standing outside talking and a female pulls in her car, he says nothing to me and walks over to her. I am standing there for 7 minutes while he talks to this woman. He then walks back over and says that is his daughters mother, again fine by me. I knew he had one. The woman drives away and then comes back to talk again. He is leaning in the car and I can't hear. Now he already told me that they ended their relationship years ago, should I be annoyed that he could just walk away from me or should I play it cool because we are not an official couple? I know he will always have a relationship with her but was that not rude for her to just call him away from me and for him not to say anything!

So I met a wonderful new guy after me and my four year long love called it quits. The new guy is wonderful and he is very understanding but I am still missing my old bf. I mean we have so much history, but the break up was so horrible that he decided he needed time to even think if he would persue something with me again. I don't call him and last night he called me but I was busy and didn't call back. Should I call him today and if so what do I say?
