My sister is tall, thin, and naturally pretty. I'm short and chubby (and an adult btw not some 10 year old who believes herself to be fat when she isn't). Growing up my father has always complimented my sister but I don't recall him ever telling me I'm beautiful, pretty, look nice, etc. I guess I'm just a little insecure about my looks because of this. I know my dad doesn't mean to do this but it hurts. I'd ust about die if I had to confront him about it (I'm not fishing for compliments). What do you all think? Opinions anyone?

I mean longer than bra strap length. I've seen and heard people who think women growing their hair really long, such as to butt length or longer as being weird, dirty, socially unacceptable even if the hair in question is well cared for. I was just wondering what some of you think about it. Do you think long hair is pretty, sexy, strange, etc.? Let me know what you think. :)

I'm American btw, and I really don't like my accent.. seems like all the U.K. people have the best accents around. :) I noticed in particular that I'm attracted more to guys with Scottish accents and I was wondering if this was true for other women?

I really like this guy, but he's always hanging around this really pretty girl. I don't know if they like each other, but she always makes me feel inferior because she's so gorgeous. She's got a perfect body and always seems to have perfectly matched clothes and she's really nice and smart too. I'm smart and have a great personality, but when I get around the guy that I like I always feel kinda on the ugly side and wonder if he could ever like a girl like me... Do I have a chance at all? What do I do? I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable if I acted as though I like him a lot, but what if he likes this other girl and not me? I'm so confused right now....

Recently the worlds oldest woman died. She was 114 years old. It suddenly occured to me that maybe I'm not doing all I can to have a long, happy, healthy life. So I ask. What is it that the Japanese do to live so long? What do they eat? What lifestyle do they live?

She's in her late teens and wants to go for a professional or sophisticated look. If anyone has any suggestions on where she should shop that'd be great. She's sorta pear shaped. I really want her to feel good about her appearance, especially since she's getting ready to go to college. Please help me out on this!!

See one of my friends thinks it's okay to eat and drink after me and she refuses to stop. I find it really rude cause she'll just take a bite out of something I'm eating or take a sip of my drink when I'm not done with it and it drives me crazy! I usually end up sick with one thing or another soon aftewrwards too. I don't want her to get mad at me though... what do I do? I thought if I found some facts on what things can be spread through contact with another person's saliva it would help.

I've heard that a grand piano is a must for those majoring in music, because an upright just doesn't have the capabilities required to play certain pieces of music with the right technique. I was just curious what my fellow musicians thought of this. And please if you aren't a musician, music major, or music teacher, don't answer.

It was sooooo nasty. My moment of triumph turned to a moment of horror. I was like "yay! I killed it!", then I was like "EEEEEEWWWW!!!!!! That's sick!!!!!!!!!".

My lil sister recently lost her pet goldfish, Pippin. She'd like to get another fish, but she's not sure if she wants another goldfish or something else. What do you suggest? No tropical fish please. I don't want to have to mess with a heater/lamp.

Is it okay to add a can of pumpkin to chocolate brownie mix to give it more fiber??? Won't it make the brownies taste wierd?
