I posted yesterday. Autozone's diagnostic said TCC doesnt engage. I took it to AAMCO they said they read transmission problem with pressure they dont know exactly what and the differential doesnt match? He asks if I had a used trans which I dont. He said maybe I need a whole new one so once they take it out it can but up to 2000. I plan on keeping this car until April/May next year is this worth it is that correct info does it sound legit or shady?

The check engine light came on so I went to autozone they did a diagnostic and thats what the computer said- "TCC doesnt engage". Short explanations for it said: poor electrical connection, failed TCC system or open/short circuit. My husband used to be a mechanic (i guess u always are one but hes been out of that line of daily work for some yrs now), that TCC thing has him stumped. All we know is its in the distributor thats what the salesman at the auto store said but he wasnt too knowledgeable either. Any one who really knows their stuff know what this means what I need fixed and about how much $? Its a 97 Honda Accord LX 110,000 mi recently was tuned up and oil changed by my husband he wouldnt screw the car up he knows how 2 do things still but is currently stumped! Thanks alot

i mean a long standing couple 5yrs+ we decided we had some issues we needed to split for a while and see if we came back to each other which we did. we werent apart too long but for 5 or 6 mths. i saw someone else who is a good friend of mine, he also saw someone else who he met. we both know this but wont address the issue upfront. has anyone been in this situation? is it best to lave it alone? get minimal details? or know everything about the situation? we both are done talking to them on that level and have agreed to work things out. I have minimal contact with my "fling" (he was a friend b4) and he has no contact as he just stopped contacting them when we decided to make things work. those with this situation would be best to answer but any opinion is good

My family ate at a restaurant 1 1/2 hrs from home monday we were on a 3 day vacation. I happened to look online to see an extra $8 added to the bill for the total which i remembered clearly since we went that morning. I found the receipt which verified they added more $ on it. Now we're not cheap we left a cash tip so thats why Im so angry to see this too. The waitress wasnt even great she was slow getting to us and the hostess brought the drinks due 2 this. I called the place they keep running me around saying the mgrs not there call later. So now today someone says well we automatically charge an extra amount to guarantee a tip. What?! Nowhere did it say this they're obviously lying no store can do that once I sign my name for one price add $ to the total. Its not that i need $8 but its the principal if they did it to me I know they do it often b/c people rarely check. What can I do now?

Im getting exhausted! Im looking for something fairly recent I will go back until about 2006 most b/c I will buy in '09 but Im researching early. I liked the VOLVO XC90 but found despite its safety its unreliable and pricey to fix. The VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG appealed to me also but it was so heavy the fuel economy is terrible even for an suv. The GMC ENVOY was nexy but I sasw how super fast it depreciated and wondered if thats worth it. I didnt like the dash of the ACURA MDX and Ive heard BMW X5 owners say it isnt all its cracked up to be. At this point Im confused. I have a growing family so a compact car wont cut it sorry. Fuel economy is important but not #1, exterior and interior appeal is up there along with safety and reliability (a fair amount I know I will have things that need repair) and owners out there?! Help!

She was diagnosed with croup last week and the cough was getting better the cold is nearly gone but it seems like at night its getting worse. The dr said the childrens cough meds dont work and to use the steam of the shower, humidifier etc but shes been wakin gherself up constantly the past few days. I used vicks on her feet and chest/back everything Ive heard. What else can I do shes not too congested its sounds kind of hacky now? Otherwise shes fine, eats fine and plays during the day.

Hi Im a new nurse and am hired onto my first hospital job. Im offered a night shif tin med surg there is either (8 hrs)11p-7a 5 days of course or (12hrs)7p-7a 3 days one week and 4 the next. I have worked 11 to 7 before but never 12hrs. I cant decide bc the idea of 3-4 days off sounds good but 11-7 works best bc my daughter sleeps through the night and wont need anyone to watch her at all just to be in the house.

Can anyone offer insight? Also Im nervous Ive made it this far but now Im thinking am I really ready?! Of course we have 12 wk orientation and all but still...Thanks.

She asked him for a sip of his beer as soon as he turned around from getting it at the bar. And she drank some. He said he didnt know what to say she bombarded him. I seriously thinks she likes him and she is pretty desperate. As my friend I'd think you dont ask someones man to drink off their drink while their girl is there. Also we brought his friend for her who was drinking the SAME EXACT THING GUINESS ON ST PATS DAY. What do u think am I over reacting?

What did you do about your feelings of resentment and regret for even meeting them in the 1st place? Its definitely for the better anyway but still...

Ive been home 10 months with my baby but now that Ive begun to look for work which should begin within the next few weeks she started daycare today. Its relatively small theres only one other infavt but the others are toddlers. She went 8-4 today and when I came in she was already in tears and basically lept into my arms. Her shirt was wet and in the process of being changed her pants were damp...they said she refused her bottle but when i got home the powder wasnt mixed into the water i premeasured anyway. she kept reassuring me she was fine today etc..i highly doubt. Anyway i dont want to over react and yank her but who wants to see their baby miserable :( How long did it take for your child to adjust to daycare and what age were they when they went. If i had to i can remain home for a few more weeks and make sure the hospital i work at has a daycare. Maybe the communication lines were crossed for the first day but shes my 1st baby and im sad bc she was too

if two people with their respective boyfriend/girlfriend cheated to be together does that make their credibility to each other less than perfect? they're best friends and know everything abou teach other and if they are both single now would it be foolish to have an actual relationship bc they clouded it by their actions before? or is it just life and they can take it for what it is now? what do you think? i said it was best to remain friends bc if they break up they can never be friends again after ruining it. but i dont know...what do you say

You know when they first come home (she's my 1st baby) you wonder are they breathing while they sleep you check on them etc...I always think o my gosh what if she isnt breathing (of course she rolls and sits and stands on her own so being smothered isnt a problem in the crib) but i find myself saying what if this happened (me tripping and falling with her just weird things!) is that normal this late in the game? Veteran moms will probably say it goes on til teenagers stay out late and beyond...but is this excessive?

Hi I've told my husband how I feel he doesn't think its that bad. He says I just was having a bad day probably. I think that minimizes it and I feel stupid. Its like sometimes when the baby cries I'm in tears too just dying for her to calm down after I've tried everything. I feel so trapped and like I'm not prepared to do this. I've been doing it for 8 mths now but I feel so blah somedays like waiting for bedtime so i can relax. I've even had hurtful thoughts about doing harmful things and I'd never ever do them but when they cross my mind I feel scared. I wish I can fast forward to when she's not so dependent on me for 100% everything. I mean to carry her around feed her etc I feel like a robot. Is this ok or is this not ok 8 months after her birth

I have been home with her for all 8 months of her life (lol) now I will begin working probably next month. Im nervous especially with all the terrible news on babysitters but I know there are nice ones out there. What questions should I be sure to ask? I know like their years of experience and sick child policies but what questions can u give me that I may forget to ask.

Not literally but figuratively? I dont mean u like two other people but you are in love with two people and in a relationship with one. The other person is a best male friend of mine from since high school. We have so much fun and have grown closer over the years and he is so intelligent and dependable and a gentleman. in my relationship I love my bf but hes not as dependable or reliable, he has bad credit and isnt as ambitious as he needs to be to move ahead in life. I am recently a new nurse and Im moving forward in life, he seems to be stagnant right now...this is my main issue and its been this way for a while, I cant be hindered by him not making progress forever...what should i do. I did not cheat or anything but its tempting however I have self control.
