  • True Blood on Comcast OnDemand?

Does anyone know if Comcast OnDemand still has all of the past episodes of True Blood available? I don't have HBO, but my parents do. I caught the first 3 or 4 episodes when I was home in September and I was hoping to catch up over Thanksgiving. I was also hoping to record the entire season, if all of the eps were there.

  • "Grandkids" photo frame?

I'm looking for a photo frame for a Christmas gift. The 4 grandchildren on my mom's side are getting a portrait taken for my grandmother's gift. I would like to put the photo in a frame that has "Grandkids" or "Grandchildren" on it. Of course, I can't find one that is larger than 4x6. We would much rather 8x10.

Anyone know where I might be able to find one? I've tried Kohl's, Walmart, Kmart, Target, Michael's, Joann's, AC Moore and a bunch of other places.

  • 2001 Plymouth Neon?

My check engine light is constantly on in my car. I've had the codes read-can't remember exactly what was wrong (something is loose), but I was told it wasn't a huge problem and it would cost way too much to find/fix it. Every so often I stop and get it checked to make sure there isn't a new code/problem.

I have to get my car's emmisons checked. They won't do the test if there are any lights on the dash. Any one know how to reset the light?

  • Container gardening with bulbs?

I want to plant some bulbs in a container so I have some pretty flowers in the spring to put on my balcony. I know I have to plant them soon, but I'm pretty clueless about actually getting things to grow. I have grape hyacinths, hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils. I live in Maryland, just outside DC. Balcony faces north. I know I'll have to bring the container in once winter arrives. How often, if at all, do I water and fertilize while it's inside? How much sun, water, and fertilizer should it get while it's sitting on my balcony looking like a pot of dirt? How cold can it get before I move it in? How warm does it have to be before I take it back out? What kind of potting medium?

  • posting bulletins on MySpace?

Does anyone know if its possible to send bulletins to everyone on your friend list but one? My 14 year old cousin just got a profile and I added her as a friend before I remembered that she will get all of my bulletins. Some of them are not really for a 14 year old to see. Do I have to delete her or just stop sending them or is there a way to just not include her?

  • For a resume/cv, how far back should I go regarding former employment?

I'm updating my resume/cv for my job/internship search. Should I include all of my employment history, going back to high school in 1996? Or should I only go back a certain number of years?

  • Special students auditing high school classes?

My sister is 18 and just graduated from HS. She has ADHD and autism. She and our parents are in the process of picking a class or two for her to take at a community college. During one conversation, my father was told about a program some of the area high schools have-special students who are not socially or academically mature enough for college can audit HS classes for a few years. Then they can enter college at, say, 21 prepared for it and with a better chance of finishing, as opposed to entering at 18, completely unprepared and wind up dropping out.

We are trying to get my sister's HS to start the program because a few more years of HS would be perfect for her.

My question-has anyone else heard of a program like this? Does anyone know where I could find information about it?

  • Do you know the title of this book?

I don't know why I just thought of this book, but now that I have, it's bugging me. Does it sound familar to anyone?

It's a fantasy. Two women go on a trip to a place that doesn't really exist. They have a guide book that really guides them, ie "don't go down that street", "don't answer the door." Turns out they were expected to arrive, they are supposed to do something that will save the, I don't know, kingdom for lack of a better word. In the end, one of the women stays and the other leaves, with a fake body so she can tell everyone that her friend died. I think they rode bikes for a good portion of their trip to the place.

  • Anyone have a home treatment for cold sores?

I have one starting to appear on the corner of my lip. I haven't had one in a while and I don't have any OTC or RX meds. Anyone have a home treatment to help get rid of it, shorten its duration or at least stop the tingling?

  • Why do so many people think sperm dies as soon as it hits air??

I just read yet another answer stating that sperm can't survive at all in air. That unless a guy's penis is physically in the girl's vagina at the time of ejaculation it is completely impossible to become pregnant. These are beyond wrong. Are there really so many people out there with such a lack of knowledge regarding sex?

  • Do you know where I can find info on the history of Christianity?

I'm looking for a book, or even a website, about the history of the Christian churches. What I want is more of the history than the religious aspect of it. Basically I'm looking for when/why the split occurred between Rome and Orthodoxy, and Catholic and Protestant, etc.
