We have rescued a chihuahua and we just learned she is pregnant.We would like to make our own whelping box for her and her puppies when they arrive. I have looked all over the net and found lots of really nice boxes with excellent instructions on how to build them.

The only problem is they are all huge. I can not find any plans for building a whelping box for a small breed dog. Does anyone out there know where I can find plans for a small dog? We are not good with carpentry. We can just do the simple stuff. So taking the plans I have found and scaling them down is beyond our capabilities.

Does anyone know where I can find plans and instructions for a small breed dog? Does anyone have the knowledge needed to draw out plans and instructions or scale down the plans for big dogs?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in need of a new computer for my work when I graduate and even before I graduate.

What I want and need is a dual built computer. I want and need a Mac and also a windows operating system in one computer.

I will also need to have the ability to dual display both systems so I can use them both at the same time.

Does anyone know how this can be done? I have a tech friend who will help me as long as we can figure out how to build such a system.

Can anyone out there tell me how this can be done? Any advice and web pages with instructions would be greatly appreciated.

I use yarn to make toys that will be used or played with quite heavily. I have tried fabric glues of all types. I have tried Elmer's glue and glue sticks. I have tried Gorilla Glue too. I have actually tried everything I have found in any local store in the area.

Nothing holds when the yarn object is used in play.

Does anyone have any experience with yarn objects and gluing things on them? What have you used to keep them intact? So far the only thing I have found that works is hand stitching, but I want to use objects that can't be sewn or stitched on.

I have an email address that I have used for several years. I quit using it because I get over 500 junk and spam emails a day. Does anyone know how I can clean it up and stop all this unwanted spam so I can use it again?

I have a #10 can (Roughly a gallon) of pickled beets and regular (not pickled) beets (2 cans total) and I am determined I will eat them. So here is my questions....

1. Can I freeze the excess?

2. Are there any other ways to store them besides freezing them?

3. Does anyone have some recipes that could make them tasty to someone who doesn't like them?

I know I can do this... I detest sweet potatoes and will eat beets before I will eat sweet potatoes. As a child my mom created these muffins and slipped sweet potatoes into them thinking we wouldn't know, but forgetting I was talking to her the whole time she created them. They were great and my mom couldn't believe I would eat them.

I now have my own version I created of these muffins and I only make them at Christmas time because my family will hunt then down where ever I have them and eat them all up.

So if I can find a way to love sweet potatoes, than there must be a way to eat the beets and love them too.

BTW: I hate candied sweet potatoes. So I would be the same way with beets. There has to be a way that one can change the flavor and make them delicious like the sweet potatoes.

I was bitten by a bee four days ago. I clearly saw which end of the bee was causing the intense pain as I flicked it off from me. I was bitten, not stung. I have a tiny hole where I was bitten.

Does anyone know what kind of bee this is and why they bite?

Being a Christian and Christmas coming brings to us many questions.

My family loves and always looks forward to Christmas. We love the festivities, the music, the food, the trees, glamour, lights, giving gifts, receiving them is nice too, but we really enjoy the giving so much more.

Our favorite Christmas activity is packing and delivering food baskets and toys to the families going through tough times during the holidays. Our second favorite thing is creating gifts and tasty goodies to give to those we care about. There is nothing greater than a homemade gift from your heart.

We don't really get into the commercialism, Santa clause ect. How ever we do enjoy the traditional movies.

Our question is, how to we keep the focus where it should be and not on these made up stories. Also, is it wrong to enjoy all these things as a Christian?

How do we keep the fun in Christmas and leave out the things that do not honor God?

Is it wrong to enjoy these things about Christmas?

I mean they are so nasty, and I don't know anything good about them. I am sure if they were to be wiped out forever, we would know what benefit they had to life, but than it would be too late.

Does anyone know anything these bugs contribute beneficially?

I have built web pages before but only using a simple server program. Now I am being offered some work building web sites if I can learn how to use Front Page 2003.

Cost is a concern, money is very tight.

I don't not want Video Professor, if you read their fine print, NOTHING is free, it all comes at a hefty price and labled free and I won't do business with anyone that is not openly honest.

Why do you feel this book is better than others out there?

A friend of mine gave me some apples to collect and plant the seeds from.

These apples are some of the best heirloom apples for baking, pie making and applesauce.

I weant to get some trees growing on my farm. My friend told me they planted the seeds and nothing ever grew from them. I am thinking there is a certain way you must prepare them for planting.

My Mother loves this song and has challenged me to get her the words to it. I so far have failed that challange. I can find the title listed on a few pages but never the lyrics.

I have a pattern for a puppet that I have created. It is my own design. I was wondering where I might sell this design or if I should even.

I used certain equipment to make it, so I could aproach the manufacture of the equipment and see if they want to buy my pattern. Or I could put together a video instruction CD and sell it on EBay or some like place. Or I could just keep it to myself.

Also how do I get my pattern copy righted?

Please give me your thoughts, ideas and advice.

Oh, almost forgot, the puppet pattern is a hand puppet with a moving mouth and is of professional quality and easy to make.

Children's Bill of Rights

My teenage son came home from school one day,

He had with him a smirk upon his face.

He had decided he was smart enough,

And just knew he could put me in my place.

Guess what I learned in Civics Two,

The class is taught by Mr. Wright?

It's all about the laws today;

It’s called "The Children's Bill of Rights."

It says I need not clean my room,

And I don't have to cut my hair

No one can tell me what to think,

Or how to speak, or what to wear.

I have freedom from religion,

And regardless what you say,

I don't have to bow my head,

And I sure don't have to pray.

I can wear earrings if I want,

And I can pierce my tongue & nose.

I can read & watch just what I like,

I can get tattoos from head to toe.

And if you ever spank me,

I'll charge you with a crime.

I'll back up all my charges,

With the marks on my behind.

And don't you ever touch me,

My body's just for my use,

Not for your hugs and kisses,

That is just more child abuse.

Don't preach about your morals,

Like your Mama did to you.

That's nothing more than mind control,

And I'm told that's illegal too!

Mom, I have these children's rights,

So you can't influence me,

I'll call Children's Services Division,

Amongst us kids it is called C.S.D.

Of course my first instinct was

To toss him right out the door.

But the chance to teach him a lesson

Made me think just a little bit more.

I mulled it over carefully;

I just couldn't let this one go.

A great big smile crept upon my face,

He'd forgot he's messing with a pro.

Next day I took him shopping

At the local Goodwill Store.

I told him, "Pick out everything you want,

There are shirts & pants & a whole lot more.

I've called and checked with C.S.D.

They told me that they didn't care

If I bought you Goodwill shoes

You don't have to wear Nike Airs.

And I've canceled that appointment

For you to take your driver's test.

The C.S.D. is unconcerned

So I will decide what is best.

I said, "There's no time to stop and eat,

Or pick up stuff for you to munch.

And tomorrow you can start to learn

Just how to pack your own sack lunch.

Oh, just save your raging appetite,

I have special plans for dinnertime.

We're having liver and onions,

It is a favorite dish of mine."

He asked, "Can I rent a movie,

To watch on my own DVR?"

"Sorry, but I sold your TV,

I put new tires on my car.

I also rented out your room,

You will sleep on the couch instead.

The C.S.D. requires

Just a roof over your head.

Your clothing won't be trendy now,

And I will choose what we eat.

That allowance that you used to get,

I'll use it to buy me something neat.

I will be selling off your jet ski,

Also your dirt bike & roller blades.

Check out the "Parents Bill of Rights,"

It is still in effect today!

Hey hot shot are you crying,

And why are you on your knees?
