I have horrid hair. It's soft and sleek but just lays flat. I love to curl it, but the curls fall out within 2 hours. It's really frustrating.

I got wen hair gel and it does nothing but keep my hair soft. I get it cut with layers to give it more body but that doesn't even work.

Don't get me wrong, I love my hair I just wish it would style.

I want/need to know if there's some people out there who have the same issue but have found products that work??

So I have trouble sleeping and become dependent on sleeping pills.

Tons of people have recommended meletonin to me. I just wanted to know if you become dependent on it?

I do not want to have to rely on pills to sleep, I just want to get down a sleeping pattern and need a littlehhelp.

I've been trying, for weeks to get to sleep early and wake up early. But every night I lay down and close my eyes and cannot sleep. I've been drinking chamomile tea because it used to help when I was little but it hasn't been helping.

If you have experience with meletonin please share your experience with me.

Just because someone has them doesn't make them any different from those without. It's annoying to hear and see things like oh they have a tattoo, they're trash.

You know the funny thing about people with tattoos? They don't judge those who don't have them, in fact they don't care at all if you have one or not.

Do you know how many doctors are in this world that have tattoos? And they save lives.

I know I sound ignorant. I just don't care. And I don't understand what the problem with tattoos is.

My daughter has a short attention span. We usually make cookies together every Friday, or every other Friday but whenever I try to do anything else with her she gets over it in about 5 minutes.

We've learned all her shapes colors and numbers but she will not do her ABCs she also won't do worksheets I've printed (tracing, coloring etc)

All she ever wants to do is watch tv but I try to keep it off during the day because I don't feel its good for her. She watches mickey mouse clubhouse and Dora every morning for about 2 hours.

I don't have a lot of money right now, and she has tons of toys but she's just not interested even when I play with her.

I need some activities that are free or at least low cost to do that she will like that will keep her busy.

I do tons with her and try to keep the days full but she just bounces around and its really har to get her to sit still. even if I take her out to the park first. Which she also gets over after about 10-15 mins.

I got my mirena a little over two years ago and hate it to all hell. I moved and don't have a new obgyn and for the last few days I've felt pregnant. I haven't felt this way on mirena at all since I got it but a few days ago I noticed I was urinating a lot more than usual and my breasts felt tender.

This is still happening, its been going on for almost a week now. I know mirena has hormones that trick your body into being pregnant and that some of these side effects are normal, but I haven't had them in the past two years and am really worried.

My old doc assured me I can't get pregnant but I still take precautions like condoms and what not.

Lately I have also been feeling a little sick and have had no appetite.

I took a pregnancy test but have not had a missed period and only had one, I usually take two just to be sure. You know, false negatives.

Could I be pregnant?

I live in Nevada with my three year old daughter. I have recently told her father (we are not together) that I don't want him in my daughter's life anymore. He lives in California. Has no job and a prior record. All he cares about is getting high. We are both young I had my daughter when I was 17 andthiught that even though and her dad broke up I still wanted them to have a relationship. She is three and in the past three years he hasn't made any attempt to see her or talk to her. He only shows up on her birthday which I hold out there every year because that's where both my and his families live. I was letting my daughter go to his moms house because he is homeless and I wanted her to know them all. But, all they do is fight and disrespect everything I've ever asked for them to do. I told them no fighting around her, they do anyways, I've said none if his girlfriends are allowed around her unless I meet her first and approve, they still had his girlfriend around and lied to my face about it. It's been rings like these that have been going on over the years. I always tell them what I do and don't feel comfortable with, but they don't listen. So finally I got fed up and said I mdont want them around her anymore because its nit healthy for her tod be around them..(oh, and my exs moms husband has his medical marijuana card and smokes around my baby, after I said I don't want it around her at all. He can't even wait for her to leave, and he doesn't even go outside for a walk or anything he smokes it in th house!)

I also have reason to believe she's being abused in their home and in waiting for her appt with her doc so I can get her in to see a specialist.

So, my ex is never around. My daughter is mainly with his mom and her husband.

So basically I told my ex and his mom that if they want to see her they can take me to court.

I think that my ex is actually going to take me to court which really I'm nit worried about at all. I'm a good mom i don't do drugs, I don't party, I stay at home with my baby and be the best mom I can.

While he, on the other hand has been in lots of trouble with the law, and gangs, does drugs, party's and he never ever tries to contact me to talk to our daughter, which there are several different ways he can. Also, I take trips out there at least once every two months so she can see our whole family. Whenever we are there he doesn't come see her (he knows where we stay)

He's saying he loves her, I don't doubt that I just don't think he really cares about her and he would rather live his life the way he wants. He's never worked, never bought her anything unless his mom bought it and never even offered me some money for her. The money isn't the problem, we hold up just fine on our own.

I've tried and tried with him and his family, all they do is manipulate and guilt trip me and say I use my baby as a tool.

I don't feel like I do at all my thought is that he's never around so why even bother especially when.he doesn't even try?

My daughter doesn't even know who he is. She sees him and wqlks away or jumps into my arms.

I've never said anything bad about any of them to her because I feel its not right.

So, if he takes me to court what will happen? Especially since we live 5-6 hrs apart and I'm planning on putting her in headstart soon and getting a job if my own. (My boyfriend provides for us right now) after I get a job, I won't be able to go out there as much as im used to, and he nor his mom or anyone in his family ever come out here. They never even offer.

I hate the thought of having to put my daughter through bouncing back and forth between here and there. And I'm not at all comfortable with her staying out there without me with her.

Id like to hear from people who have had experience wuth this type of situation.

Please no negative comments. Or opinions on how I should raise my child.

I don't ever remember having nightmares when I was 3, then again I barley remember being 3.

My daughter is having nightmares a lot lately. She wakes up dripping in sweat and crying and too scared to tell me what happened. Most of the time she says the monster is going to get her.

I have no idea what to do, I just let her sleep with me when it happens but now she's wanting to sleep with me all the time and is scared to sleep by herself. Her bedtime is 8 every night and she's not going to bed until around 10-12,

What could this mean?

Okay I'm going to post this again since no one read the details I added.

First off, I am not trying to commit fraud.

Next, I am diagnosed depressive bi-polar by a licensed professional.

I just moved here and have a lease so I can't just up and move. I want to get a pitbull. The woman who works for my landlord told me I can have one although they have breed restrictions here as long as I have a signed note from my doc saying its an emotional support dog. IT DOES NOT MAYTER WHAT THE BREED IS, THEY RESPECT THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE ISSUES AND THEY RESPECT THAT THEIR FAVORITE KIND OF DOG IS WHAT KEEPS THEM OUT OF THEIR DEPRESSION. All I'm asking is how to go about getting a note because I live in a completely different state than where my old doc is so don't have one yet concidering treatment is very expensive when you don't have insurance. Which I don't.

I want to be able to have the puppy and was just wondering if there were alternative ways to get the note.

I bought a toddler bed from goodwill because it was super cheap and in excellent condition. I didn't realize it didn't have the bars you put on to hold the mattress up. So I was wondering where to get some? I've been using some planks of wood but it sinks and she hates sleeping in it and is constantly waking up at night.

I've been searching online and don't know what these things are called so all that pops up is bed rails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay I know it sounds totally messed up but why? I lived in Colorado for my childhood and cali in my teen years and never in my life have seen so many fat people. I moved here about 2 years ago and all I see when I go anywhere is at least 5 fat people. And the majority of the time its women.

I just find it repulsive and can't stand seeing it. It's not that hard to eat right and exercise. And I'm not talking about chunky girls. At least most of them have tight chunky bellies. I'm talking about people I mistake for whales. Like they're so huge they can eat an entire whale. They have so many rolls and ripples you don't know if its a person or a wave pool. And the flappy underarm thing most have goin on. Ew.

Why don't women care about how they look anymore?

She's got total attitude. She's so smart but when it comes down to listening she just ignores me.

She's not a bad child but she purposely does things that she knows is bad. Like she knows she's not allowed in the kitchen because she hides food and makes a mess. We have locks on everything but she gets past them. I've told her if she wants something just to ask but its like she wants to be big and do it herself. Which makes sense but everyday is a battl

I've tried spanking. It does nothing and I feel horrible when I do it. And I only do it if its a bad day and she's just not listening at all and keeps doing it. I always give her 3 chances. I do the counting methood. "If I get to three you will get a spanking" and always follow through with what I say. She will stop but start again in an hour or so.

I've tried time out, all she does is scream or wait for me to turn around and just run away, I've tried putting her back in time out time and time again but just gave up on them because it does nothing and she will also find ways to entertain herself like if I put her in her room with the door closed she climbs up the furniture and toys and does some dangerous things that scare me so I try to stay clear from it.

I yell a lot and that's one thing I said I'd never do because its all my mom did.

So how do I discipline her without having to yell? And what's something that actually works?

I have no clue why but I cannot fall asleep. Sometimes I will at around 3-4 in the morning but most of the time I stay up all night, fall asleep early the next day, then end up not wanting to wake up, and sometimes don't until 12-1 pm!

I've never had this problem before. I don't think a lot when I'm going to bed I lay in the dark for hours wide awake. I'll close my eyes and try to sleep but end up just laying there. I don't drink a lot of coffee. Only when I need it so maybe 2-3 days per week.

I don't understand why I can't sleep. And I don't like to take sleeping meds because they really mess with my body. What can I do?

I didn't even know I was th negative until last year! My daughter is three. My doc didn't tell me I was and when you are rh negative you are supposed to have a card that you are supposed to carry at all times in case of an emergency.

Anyway last year I miscarried baby #2 and the nurse told me I was rh negative and needed the rogham shot. I was furious at my former doc for not telling me.

After I had my daughter, I got a terrible uteran infection caused by a tear in the placenta which made membrane leak out into my uterus. There was so much icky stuff coming out of me and I ended up being in the hospital on an iv for three days pumping antibiotics through my body.

Worst experience ever.

Anyway I was told that when the mom and dad are both rh negative the baby will be and it poses no threat to the baby. But, when the mom is and the dad isn't the moms body puts off antibodies that attack the baby, is this true and is it the reason I miscarried?

Or could it be that I never received the shot after my first delivery?

This sounds so pathetic. But I've been living in Nevada for about 2 years now moved from cali and I still don't have friends.

I never really get out, I'm a mom and stay home with my baby all day. I'm almost 21 and never really had a lot of friends. I tend to dump them because I've been effed by so many so its hard for me to trust people.

I've tried adding people in my area on fb. And posted ads on cl looking for other young mommies for playdates and what not but no one.

I have a park and pool at my house but no one is ever really around.

It sucks out here, I honestly hate it mainly because I don't have family out here but cali sucks too and is way to expensive to live.specially when you're a young mom.

I've asked a question before about my MacBook. It's a late 2006 model and has the white screen with a flashing folder with a ? On it. So I did some extra research and found out that all I need to do is get pop in the install disc (snowleopard)

Now, my sister actually bought this laptop a few years ago off some dude on craigslist and when the screen went white she basically gave it to me and said if you can fix it you can have it and it was actually sitting at my dads house until a few months ago when I finally decided to get cracking on it. So anyway when she bought it, it didn't come with the disc.

Now, I've found free downloads for it on the Mac website yet everytime I put it on a disc and pop it into the laptop nothing happens. I figure I'm not using the right disc. I've been using a CD-R and the other day I was looking on amazon and the disc itself is actually a DVD-R disc. So as blonde as I sound is that the problem as to why its not working?

Or should I just stop being cheap and buy the installation disc?

Okay I have a broken MacBook that I just want to get rid of and I'm all hell why not get paid for it? So I looked up sites and gazelle is the #1 top website that keeps popping up.

So first off I know I'm bad, you don't need to tell me.

I bleached my hair twice from dark brown to get blonde.

So luckily, I still have my hair and its now a yellowish orange with white it doesn't look horrible but I want it to be platinum.

Now yesterday, I was at the store and saw color oops which seems perfect except for the face that I have no clue if its good to use in my hair after bleaching. (My bf hates waiting for me to read the boxes before I buy cus he's a tard) so anyway my question is, will that work and is it safe?

Also, my mom told me to get a toner. I have no clue how to find it cus I've been to two beauty stores now and there isn't a single bottle that says toner on it (I know I'm dumb) I did read to get one with blue tint in it but I can't find one so if you have the name of the toner maybe that will actually hel

I don't like asking the employees at the store because last time I did I asked which tints to mix to get a light reddish brown color, she totally gave me one that turned my hair orange like a lion! So forgive me if I don't trust them to help me out.

So, what's the best toner to get, or should I just get the color oops?

It turns on and works, however, when I put in a DVD it just loads forever and it won't eject the disc unless I turn it off and turn it back on, and when it does spit the disc out it doesn't spit it out all the way and I have to pry it out with tweezers fast or it just sucks it back i

I've looked in the Manuel for the car and it says that it could be that the parental control may be on and to turn it off but I cannot for the life of me figure out how.

I just bought this car and unfortunately didn't notice that there is no remote for the DVD player.

Also, I'm not very techni-capable so any tips help.

HTC EVO design 4g, I've had it for a little over a year now and for the past week it will not stay on. Sometimes it works with the charger sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it'll stay on for an hour, sometimes it will turn off right when it starts up. I'm really frustrated since this is my first nice phone. I've dropped it a few times but it has no water damage and is still in almost perfect shape. I took it to my sprint tech support and all they did was reset it, which I had already done twice. They also told me if the problem persists I have to pay $100 friggin bucks to replace it.

I'm really trying to get around having to buy a new one I don't have $100 to spend on myself.
